Why am I so tired all the time? I went to bed at 10 on Thurs, and I woke up exhausted on Friday... I think I think too much in my sleep... I mean, last week I remembered to do a title page for an assignment in my sleep... that's crazy. Enough with the thinking... so last Thurs was AMANDA'S BIRTHDAYYYY!!!!!! Happy Birthday Amanda! I made her a spiffy banner with tons of squirrels... I was squirrel-printing happy the nite before, lol... I asked Jeremey and Babin to play Wonderwall on the announcements for her, which they did, and that was so nice :) Thanks! So Friday was naturally Amanda's par-tay. So much X-Box! Ahhh! Spaky networked two of them together so we could play on two tvs with 7 people. That was so much fun :) I love Halo. But that Dead Or Alive Beach Volleyball... *shakes head* Amanda's room is spiffy cool, and I need to think of a quote for her wall, but all of them are either: a)depressing b)not pleasant c)suicidal. So I need to come with something meaningful and happy... *thinks* Yeah, I just said I'd stop thinking... I'm too tired to think now anyways... So Amanda got tons of stuffed animals, cds, and Monsters Inc stuff for her birthday! That was gweat... Tonite Marta and I went downtown again. We were going to ask people to come, but we figured no one else wanted to go see the movie Spirited Away, done by the people who did Princess Mononoke and Totoro. IT WAS SO GOOD! I loved it... no wonder it's the bigger movie ever in Japan... We went to Queen street earlier to look for a bracelet for me, but they were all too punkish. And I mean, I'm not punk... but I'll get something eventually. On the way back on the train we met up with tons of skater boys. One of them ran across the tracks, and went on top of one of those entrances for the stairs down from the platform, and proceeded to board down it. Haha, he fell.. but they were hilarious. They were hitting each other with seat covers on the train... such little kids. Then there were these two computer nerds who were arguing (and I mean arguing) over Linex, Dos and Win XP. So stupid... but yeah, Marta and I had fun... but I didn't eat dinner, so I'm not exactly in the best of moods right now... and I'm tired... so nitenite.

Updating!
I had an ammmmmazing weekend :) One of the best in a while. First was Friday nite with Marta. We were supposed to go to a movie, but she had to take photos for her class, so we ended up downtown. We went to the ROM to see the new Lost Civilizations exhibit (free on Fridays!) and found the most hilarious statue... *poses* Marta took a pic of me imitating it, but I really hope she doesn't show it to people... you know... embarrassing and all :) But it was funny. Later we went out to a Japanese restaurant. I'd never eaten real sushi, shrimp, wasabi, fish eggs or that bean soap in my life. And it all came in this spiffy bento box... it was good! I didn't feel sick at all afterwards! I'm definitely going there again... After we walked around looking at buildings for pictures. We went to Queen street and saw them setting up for EC and the Coldplay I & I at Much. All the stores that Marta liked were closed though, so it kinda sucked. Then it started thundering, so we ran back to the subway and then over to Union. I want to go again next weekend, but maybe I can drive this time... that would be more convenient.
So yeah, Saturday was the Coldplay concert. It was beautiful... :) I absolutely loved it. It was only half the ACC, so it was nice and small, plus our seats were amazing. They weren't floor, but they were right at the front of the second level, so we could see everything perfectly. I never knew Coldplay was one of the nicest bands in the world... They were hilarious, and the music was heavenly... then again, I think all their music is. This is the set list as I remember it:

Politik
Shiver
Spies
Daylight
Trouble
One I Love
Don't Panic
Everything's Not Lost
Green Eyes
God Put A Smile Upon Your Face
Yellow
The Scientist
A Rush Of Blood To The Head

Encore: Clocks
In My Place
Secret track after Everything's Not Lost

Ash opened for them, and they were really good. I had downloaded some of their songs before the concert to see what they were like. They kinda didn't match Coldplay's quiet stuff, but oh well. They said they were playing with Dashboard, so whoever's going to that gets to see them. Shining Light and Sometimes were the best. I'll have them up for songs of the week next time... Anyhoo, back to Coldplay... During the middle of concert, Chris Martin told everybody to "come on down" to the stage. This wasn't a general concert. There was no space for people to stand in front. Somehow by the end it was a mosh pit. No surfing, but very close. I felt so sorry for the people who had paid for front row tickets... So during Green Eyes, Chris kept saying "Greennn eyes... oh fuck... you're the onnneee... oh fuck... I'm so sorry! Please, be gentle. Don't hurt each other." Lol... then a fight happened, so he actually stopped the song he was playing, went into the audience, broke it up, and then continued the song. He also covered Nelly's Hot In Herre, which was hilarious, inhaled helium and tried to sing, and yelled at us for not singing the right words. I bought a poster before Ash came on, and before Coldplay played, everything was sold out... So I'm happy that I got it when I did :) It was the best concert I've ever been to, probably because I knew everything they played, and because the band members themselves were incredibly funny and friendly. I was disappointed when they didn't play Warning Sign, which is my favourite from the second cd, but I love Rush Of Blood To The Head, so that made up for it. And Trouble, which is my favourite song by them, was beautiful. I wanted so much to go to the I & I on Sunday, but I wasn't allowed because my grandparents were here... grrr... There's always next time... The concert didn't end late, but I got home at 2. My grandparents can't hear a thing, and told me not to call, so I took full advantage of the situation. Justin and I went to Starbucks, a park, and sat in the car listening to Radiohead and talking for about 3 hours. He's so nice... I'm glad he came with me, because he really likes the band too. So it was great weekend. A fantabulous weekend. Excuse me as I go back to listening to Coldplay... lol... bye.

The Vines have a new video. Craig Nicholls is as crazy as ever... :)

Updating twice in one week? Amazing.... :) Anyhoo, so I've been incredibly busy with school this week. Had two tests (excuse me, one quest, and one surprise quiz) today, which I studied so hard for... I think I did alright on those. Too many meetings/things to do at lunch, I haven't really had a break. But having the car all week has been nice, since I can go home or do whatever I want on my spare. Spare's last tomorrow! You know what that means... *smiles* Extra long Friday for me! Marta and I are going to try to get into fear dot com tomorrow (it's rated r, but I mean, I'm almost 18). If anyone wants to come they're welcome :) YOU KNOW WHAT STARTED TODAY??? SURVIVOR!!! But I had to watch on full volume, my brother has Mike Hellyer and Jamie over for a so-called 'band' pratice. Actually, they're amazing. Actually, Mike and Jamie are the amazing ones. My brother's never played a bass before, but somehow he's doing alright on it. They sound EXACTLY like Pedro The Lion, except without the singing. I think I'm going to give them one of the cds, and let them listen to it. Speaking of Pedro The Lion, they're coming to town soon! (Thanks Jude :) ) But unfortunately, the concert's 19+ because of drinking laws... Damn it all. So that's out. But there's still Coldplay this weekend! Ash is opening, so I was downloading some stuff by them. They're really good too. Ah, too many good bands, and too little money to buy cds. Sucks. On a final thought, Jude and I talked for the first time since March yesterday. It was nice :) I'm glad that we're not totally ignoring each other anymore... And that we might have finally put that behind us. :)
Anyhoo, I'm going downstairs to listen to this one song they've been working on... I don't know if it's theirs, or someone else's, but it's amazing. Maybe I can record it later... we'll see :) Bye!

Mon. Sept. 16 at 1:52pm

Ahhh... the wonderfullness of having a spare last and a car on the same day... *smiles* So today was a good day :) Publicity Club started, and we have a ton of members. I surprised myself by being able to talk in front of a lot of people without problems... amazing! Now all I've got tonite is to edit a movie, which is always fun, and print off a technical report. Maybe I'll start a little of that dumb chem lab. *Watch out! It's changing colour!* That was a gay lab. So anyhoo, both Babin's and Spaky's par-tays were this weekend. Friday after school I drove Sheppy and Spaky back to my place. We were going to go to GG to see if there were any tutoring jobs for volunteer hours. Little did we know that it was a PD day. Needless to say I was mad. So then we went to play a bit of tennis. Haha, I sucked so badly! I think I lost 2 balls over the fence, and couldn't do much else right... I guess I'm just used to smacking the crap out of a birdie in badminton. After we went to Babin's par-tay, and he wasn't even there when we arrived, lol. It was fun :) I wonder what the table looked like when we left with all the crayon/food/liquid over it. Atfer the par-tay a few of us went over to Spaky's to play Monopoly! And I lost!!! Best part: Amanda picking up a Chance card, and saying "Heeeellllooooo????" Hahaha... I heard that the people who went over to Babin's played Monopoly too. That's creepy. Anyhoo, Saturday I got all my hw done, and then went to Spaky's later at nite. I didn't go early because I was feeling quite sick... Marta got me and Jenn sick, and we in turn got everyone else sick, lol... It was a fun party, mostly because there was a steady dose of Halo. I actually didn't suck that much either! I beat the crap out of a lot of people, but then I lost horribly other times. Hahaha... ahhh... Run out of things to sayyyy... BYE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPAKKKKYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't have any intentions to smack you with my textbook this morning. That was an illusion :)

Anyhoo, I'm letting this journal slip... haven't updated in a week. Actually, I'm just really sick of this thing. I think I've said it before. It's not going anywhere for now... but we'll see... anyhoo, so last weekend Marta, Nowak and Andrea came to my cottage. Which was FUN. Because we did a lot, but mostly just swimming and relaxing. It was the perfect weekend, sunny and hot both days. I'd say the creation of Aqua Goat was the best part :) That consisted of Nowak bleating out loud when everyone was on their docks star watching. And somehow the entire Aqua Farm was born... I lost at Monopoly because my brother stupidly traded Boardwalk to Marta. And we all were killed. I took people 'skimming' (my brother's invented sport of pulling someone under water behind a boat for as long as they can hold their breath), and they somehow realllllly liked it. I don't see how that could be any fun! We spent a good deal of Saturday just paddling around the bay on tubes, paddleboat, mattresses, boards and noodles. We looked at a sunken boat, flooded the paddleboat, and went tubing. I didn't fall off once! Contrary to what I did at Babin's. Nowak almost got up waterskiing, but I told him to lean back a bit, and he just leaned all the way down to the water. Hilarious. I got a good picture of that, lol... So yeah, it was fun :) I want to have people up in the winter, because there's TONS to do then. Anyhoo, I'm enjoying my spare thoroughly, because I can get so much work done, and then I have little/no hw at night. It's heaven. Today I just stayed outside after lunch, lay on the picnic table, and read the new Rolling Stones magazine which has a special on The Vines. I never knew Craig Nicholls liked his bong that much... hahaha... He's crazy. I've run out of things to say.... Bye!

Thurs. Sept. 05 at 10:13pm

Wooo... updating... Spaky told me he visits my site almost every day (haha, I thought no one did), so I'm really only updating now because of him. I have a spare! Ah! Amazing! Dropped that math! So I found out Carla's on the same spare, and we worked together in the library. I'm honestly using that time for working, not for going out somewhere, because I need all the time I can get. Bought Paul's cd today. It's REALLY good. The lyrics are amazing, better than most bands I've heard. Buy it now. Ummm... what else is new... like nothing... hey! It's Babin's birthday! "Why you lazy crap for crap!" Happy Birthday! I think Sushi's birthday is next... and then Amanda's... But I'm probably forgetting people here. My brain hasn't come back from vacation yet.

"What's the deal with 7? Why's everyone scared of him?"
"Because 7 8 9!"

Haha, you can tell I was watching Reboot tonite. That's still one of my favourite shows ever. Bye!

Tues. Sept. 03 at 5:54pm

"So I'm going to buy a gun and start a war
If you can tell me something worth fighting for
And I'm going to burn this place, that's what I said
Blame it upon a rush of blood to the head." - Coldplay

Crap for crap... school started today. I hate school. My most hated thing in the world. Besides maybe getting up early, I hate that the most. But that IS school, isn't it? Therefore, school is my most hated thing ever. lol... as Mr.McCallum would say, "I'm going off on a tangent, which is another math term you will be learning." Aha, I'm dropping that course. Don't need it for what I'm going into. Take that, math... So currently I'm eating zucchini, and mulling over what I've done since the last update. I went to Babin's cottage on Sat, and got a bad sunburn. Stupid me and not putting on sunsceen. But it's turned into a nice tan now, so it's all good :) I had fun tubing with Cori, where we just talked the entire time, instead of killing each other like Jeremey and Babin were. And Babin and I beat Jeremey and Cori in a quick game of Monopoly... haha... Schooled you. Anyhoo, I didn't really do much the rest of the weekend, except sleep... and watch tv... and swim... and eat... I mean, what else do you do at a cottage? Monday I got home too late to do anything with anyone, so I just got into pjs, made food, and watched The Great Muppet Caper. I think I watched The Lion King last summer before school... I dunno, it makes me feel like I don't have any responsibilities, which is dandy. I wanted to go to the Doves concert next Monday, but then I realized I couldn't afford it. It's only $32 or something like that, but the Coldplay concert was expensive. And that ate my money reserve. So I'll just wait until the next time they're in town. Wonder if anyone else has heard of them? lol... Speaking of Coldplay, all I did before sleeping this weekend was listen to the new cd. I LOVE Warning Sign. It's my favourite on the cd. Anyone who needs music to fall asleep to, I recommend this cd. Just found out the concert is sold out. I'm soooo happy I got tickets :) Can't wait. Anyhoo, so school started today, and my classes are pretty good, considering the difficulty of them all. First is bio with Mr.T, which EVERYONE is in. That's going to be an amazing class. Next is chem with Mr.Musselman. He's pretty nice, aside from his no backpacks or coats rule. But I can live with that. Third is discrete math, which I'm dropping. I don't like the teacher, and I can't handle the course. So bye. And last is com tek which is going to be so easy. There's only 12 people in our class. Next semester is art with Skol, calculus with Syed, english with Rosebrugh, and physics with Gustin. I heard that the physics class this semester is making catapults. We're going to Wonderland for the day. *smiles* Bye!
