Eh! Back home for one day! lol.... well, actually we came home Tues nite, but it was late, so I guess I'm only back one day. We needed to cut the grass, take care of the house, etc. I'm going back up tomorrow morning at 8 because I have a boating exam. Damn, it was so hard to study!!! I don't know what people were talking about when they said it was easy! I now know what 'abaft' and all those other terms mean. So anyhoo, I spent more time watching movies at the cottage, namely movies such as Hannibal, Austin Powers, Austin Powers 2, Fast And The Furious (twice), Pokmon 3 (lol), Bean and Jose And The Pussycats. "Holy shit, that girl has a skunk on her head!" There was so much advertising in that movie, it was sad. We went over to a friend's cottage on Sat, where I got landed on by Nicky while tubing. Ouch. The emergency brake on the Pimpstar got stuck, my dad said nothing was wrong, and it seized, lol... I drove it home because I'm the slowest driver in my family. But it got fixed, and now the car works beautifully. I was watching MM, and learned that Coldplay is having a concert here Sept. 21!!!! AHHH!!! The presale started this morning at 10, but I wasn't signed up for the newsletter, therefore I didn't have the password. And believe me, I looked everywhere. So I'm going to call Ticketmaster from the cottage on Saturday morning when the public sale starts. Hopefully there will be half-decent tickets still. There's no way I'm missing this concert. No w-a-y. Anyhoo, we went over to another friend's cottage on Tues before we came home. They're on Lake Joe. It was soooo beautiful. That day I drove almost 300km, my biggest driving day yet. My hands have blisters from holding the steering wheel so hard on the 400. It just scares me. I learned that some guy from Bell Sympatico was at our house taking pictures and stuff because they want to shoot a commercial here. But my dad's not to pleased about the idea, because a lot of his clients have had movies shot at their houses, and the crews just make a mess. But we'll see... it's funny because this house can't even get Sympatico, lol.... I went over to Spaky's tonite with a few people. It was nice to see people again, lol. So yeah, I might be getting my boating license tomorrow (if I pass), and I'm gone to the cottage for a long time. Maybe my computer will come up, lol. So tataa!

Btw, I was watching the music video Welcome To Atlanta, and noticed that the part with P Diddy was filmed right by the hotel everyone stayed at in New York. There's our croissant shop we went to every morning! Bye!

*yawns* So tired! So what have I been up to this past 3 little days in the city? ummmm... a fair bit I guess. I went out shopping at Square One on Monday, bought cds, a present, and tried on dresses with Andrea and Marta, lol. *sighs with Andrea* hehehe.... Big Nowak drove us, and it was a pleasure sitting in between Marta and Nowak while they're fighting over the electrical box in the car. So anyhoo, yesterday I just did basically nothing. Listened to music, and went out shopping at Future Shop. I finally got the 2 minidiscs they've been owing me since Christmas. I was up past 3 recording songs :) Acutally, I haven't gone to bed before 3 all week. I've been on a downloading freezy, it's kinda scary. My ICQ died on me, and I can't use it anymore. I have Web ICQ, but that's only with the people that were on my pc ICQ, not the 70-someodd on my mac ICQ. So now I have to guess everyone's numbers and names. I don't even have a contact file, so it kinda sucks. I have another version of ICQ on here, so between the 2 ICQs, and AIM, I'm alright. Still mad, but surviving. Today I called Marta, and we went out to see a movie. Well, we planned on seeing PowerPuff Girls (it's a decent movie! Don't laugh!), but it wasn't playing at AMC. We just went over to Silvercity, and discovered it played at 12:50pm. So that was cut. Minority Report wasn't on until 10:30, therefore I persuaded Marta to see The Crocodile Hunter!!! HAHA! It was SO good! So funny! All he says is Crikey! Even Marta said it was good :) BTW, Silvercity now has a 'youth' price (less than AMC). So I think we should actually go there sometimes. It used to be 12.50, which was crazy. On the way out of the movie, we met up with Cori and some guy who were going to see Minority Report. Lol, I still want to see that! Anyhoo, since it was early, the two of us decided Laserquest would be fun, but when we got there, they had just started the last game for the night. *shakes fist* So we headed to Blockbuster, rented Zoolander, and headed to my place. *whispers* "Inside the computer... it's so simple..." BEST line of the movie! Wellll... there's lots of others, but I like that one! Anyhoo, dropped her off after 12, and now I'm listening to Burndt Jamb over and over. Someone help me, I think I'm obsessed. I'm off to my cottage again tomorrow for another long time. We're going over to Ernie's this weekend, and hopefully I'll be able to see Nicky, Matt and Warren, who I haven't talked to since Christmas or so. Tataa!!!

O, btw..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOWAKO AND MARTA!!! AND HAPPY ONE YEAR, MANDA AND BRIAN!!!

The Concert - Sunday, July 14

The Weezer concert was one of the best moments of my life. I've never been to something more powerful. The day started off with my coming home from the cottage early (I was so tired, I stayed up the night before listening to music way too late). Andrea and Nowak picked me up, and we went down to Ontario Place via the Go. It was so hot... We played the somewhat traditional game of volleyball (the sand burned my feet), made fun of what people were wearing, got lunch, made fun of the kids on the mini Drop Zone, and just walked around. There were so many people wearing those Weezer glasses, it was hilarious. One thing I generally noticed about the concert was the fact that there wasn't one set group of people there. I saw preps, goths, skaters, the Weezer look, adults, gynos, and a ton of those popular people. I thought Weezer was more the 'nerd' type of music, but I was dead wrong. I had gotten us seats smack center, and they were really good. We saw Lucas and his girlfriend (but they didn't see us). The people in front of us were obviously not concert goers, who sat or stood still for the entire thing, which was great. There were two stages, and 4 opening acts (I think). I only saw some band called "The Weekenders" (or something like that), and I didn't like them at all. Dashboard Confessional was REALLY good. I thought they were more a quiet type of band, but I was wrong again. They played quite a few songs. Weezer got on at around 9, and the noise that people made when they stepped out was amazing. There were almost 16 000 people there, so this was the first 'big' concert I've ever been to. Everyone stood. I couldn't see the lawn from our seats, but I know it was packed too. The level behind us was pressed against the bars and screaming through the entire thing. They opened with some song from Maladroit that I hadn't heard. Dope Nose was after (I love that song!). During the concert they played Island In The Sun, Oh Girlfriend (Rivers messed up the lyrics!), My Name Is Jonas, Holiday, Surf Wax America, The Sweater Song, No One Else, El Scorcho (Rivers just asked the audience what they wanted to hear. I guess he didn't hear my Keep Fishin), Burndt Jamp, and a bunch of other stuff I'd never heard. Hash Pipe was the encore, and it somehow got dragged out to about 7 minutes, lol. About 3/5 of the way through, they played Only In Dreams. Now, I've heard them play that before, but this time, it was absolutely amazing. It went on forever. You know in the instrumental part where it just gets louder and louder? At the climax, Pat and his drum set started rising into the air, and that big Weezer sign raised up underneath him. I would've done anything to have a panoramic camera at the end of that song, seeing all the people in front of me doing that =W= sign with the fog and sign. It was something I'll never forget. Rivers didn't have his beard (thank you), was dressed in a suit and was in sunglasses most of the time. Somehow at the end of the concert, he didn't have any glasses. At one point he took off his jacket, and all the girls started screaming. In that oh-so-cute Rivers' voice, he said, "....it's just a jacket." hehehe.... The three of us ran all the way to catch the last train for the hour, and I discovered I'm very much out of shape. On the way back, Nowak and I talked about how this felt like that Coke commercial where the kids are in the subway coming home from a concert. We went out to McDonalds afterwards (Andrea let me drive through the drive-though. Whoa, that car is peppy.) We went back to Nowak's and ate by his pool. Needless to say, I got home quite late. In all, the concert was AMAZING, and I'm never going to miss another Weezer concert again.

Also needless to say, I finally purchased Maladroit and The Blue Album at the mall today. New obsessions are Holiday, Death and Destruction and Burndt Jamp.

The Cottage - Tuesday, July 9 - Sunday, July 14

I got back to my cottage on Tuesday by meeting my mom in Mactier. We had the cottage to ourselves until Friday night, which was great. *In a Homestar voice* Thats gweat. Express Vu is my savior. We got a new big tv up there, and combined with a stereo system, I basically watched movies all week, including Chicken Run, The Fast And The Furious, Gone In 60 Seconds, Traffic, Memento, Austin Powers, Men In Black, Final Fantasy, and others Im just not remembering. Do you know they have about 7 channels dedicated to playing Harry Potter 24 hours a day? S-c-a-r-y.... Anyhoo, I didnt sit inside the ENTIRE time, I went out and tried to get some sun. One time while laying on a lounge, I felt this little scratching at my leg, so I moved it away quickly. I now have 9 little chipmunk claw marks in my leg. *shakes fist at chipmunk* My mom and I took the boat out by ourselves two days, and I drove it always. Which is funny because I dont have my boating license. Meh. We cooked, had fun, and relaxed. I like spending time with her alone, because we never get into fights. That only happens when my entire family is there. During the weekend I just drove myself to Parry Sound, cleaned the boat more, and slept a lot. I finally saw the Osbournes, which was rather hilarious. Too bad I dont have MTV at home. I saw the first showing of Keep Fishin by Weezer on MuchOnDemand. Rick said, Everyone in here just stopped and watched. IT WAS SO CUTE! I love it so much! The Swedish Chef is in it! And the penguins! And Animal plays the drums!!! I stayed up at night to watch the repeat, lol... Thats gweat.

 The Marta's Cottage - Friday, July 5 - Tuesday, July 9

I was invited to Martas cottage this summer! So on Friday, her dad picked me and a friend up and drove us to his cottage. Mr.Green is hilarious. I wish I had a dad like that. We stopped at Webbers on the way, had a hamburger, and got to the cottage faster than I get to mine. Martas on an island, so we needed to take their boat. The weekend was full of Homestar Runner (Marta had internet! Soooo slow, but internet none-the-less!), Pokmon Monopoly (I schooled you! SCHOOLED), Scattergories (every night), Pokmon battles, swimming and sleeping. I fwy away, beardface! Her dad just bought them water skis, so I taught Marta and Nicky how to ski. And maybe I taught Mr.Green how to drive with a skier. The first time he tried to go with me, he gunned the throttle before the line was taunt. The result: An inability to use my arms for a day. I couldnt even lift my blankets. It was sad. But by the end of the weekend, everyone was able to get up, and some even got outside the wake. I have decided to take up wakeboarding now. We have the perfect boat, and I really would like to be one of the only girls on my lake to do that. I tried slalom skiing at Martas, but I didnt do anything. Just kinda fell sideways each time, lol.... I like marrsssshmallllows! hehehe... And Douglas the Moth... Martas dad found this moth that stayed in the same spot always. So he drew up a speech bubble. Hilarious. The last day, we packed up my stuff, and drove over the Mr.Greens brothers cottage on Georgian Bay. It was the most amazing cottage I have ever seen. It was featured in House and Home. They had 3 beautiful boats (a barge! Well, theyre on an island), 5 golf carts to get around the island, hot tub, a canvas chair that went up and down to a observation window, windmill, solar panel field, basketball court, 2 sailboats, and a beautiful cottage. Marta and I went tubing on their huge boat. Both of us got thrown 3 times, and I really hurt after that. Ive never tubed behind a boat that big before, so it was kinda scary. Marta loved it though, lol. All in all, it was an amazing visit. Thanks so much Marta! I want you over to my cottage again this summer :) Tataa!

Thurs. July. 4, 2002 at 11:15pm

Happy Independance Day! (you know, just in case you're into that sort of thing...) Anyhoo, yesterday I did a few things around the house, and then went out to Jeremey's to meet up with him and Babin. I found them sitting in complete darkness laughing at Homestar Runner. We couldn't find Jenn, and Jeremey started calling all the hairdressing places on Lakeshore. But when we drove up to her house, she drove up. Genious! And then off it was to Men In Black II, which was pretty good. "All is lost! All is lost!" "Damn decent of you." I must admit the ending was too patriotic and crappy, but the car made up for it... purrrr... new hottness... On the way home Jenn and I enjoyed torturing Mr.Honda, who we boxed in all the way along Winston Churchill... *evil laugh* So today was my home day, spent making pasta salads and washing cars. Got into some fight with my dad over a capture card (don't ask), so I can't wait to get away from home tomorrow. I'm going to Marta's cottage for a long time. I heard she already set up a tent on her deck for the two of us to sleep in. O goody... lol... I've got Tim checking my e-mails so I don't go over my limit with all the crappy junk I get, and I've got my VCR ready and set. So bye, I guess I won't be back in town for a while. Have fun on your trips, Jeremey and Jenn! I wish I was doing something like that! Tataa for now.

Tues. July. 2, 2002 at 9:57pm

Whoa. An early entry tonite! What happened yesterday? I remember doing something... wait... don't tell me... ah yes, I went to Spaky's! Haha... we watched How High, which was hilarious! I also got creamed at every game of Halo and Gotham Racing I played... which sucks, but I'm way out of practise in first person shooter games (the official name, Jeremey). I got Spaky introduced to homestarrunner.com later on ICQ, and I have converted yet another person! Yes! I think I fully converted Jenn, I mean... I know she likes it, lol. Today I FINALLY saw Nowak and Andrea. Andrea officially is hated by all the girls, for having an amazing tan. You suuucckkkk... lol, but anyhoo, we went out to Montana's, waited forever for Nowak/Spaky/Matt/V to finally come, and then even longer for Jenn and Jeremey because Nowak told them to meet at Mustang's. *sighs* Afterwards we went to Nowak's for swimming, in his bromine-filled pool, which killed my eyes. It kinda ended early, thanks to the _______, (I'm not allowed to say why, lol), but it was still fun! Except the general lack of winning from the girl's team. Stupid Matt Nash.... *shakes fist* And yes, the Jenn and Heather club thrived again! *sings our theme song* Nananananana... Jenn-and-Heather-club!!! Hopefully I'm seeing Men In Black II tomorrow, but I'm kinda out of money. My mom decided to raid my room and stole the $400+ I had in there, and put it in my savings account, which I have no access to. But we'll see.... This feels like a Matrix kinda nite... Tataa!

Mon. July. 1, 2002 at 12:20am

Happy Canada Day! *woo* I had another very relaxing (well, somewhat) day today. My family decided to spend the day together, which we haven't done probably since I was little. I drove us about an hour up Winston Churchill (do you know it turns into a one lane dirt road? I do now.) to one of my Dad's client's houses in Caledon, which is more like a huge cottage, bigger than my house. They let us have the place for the day, and we made an outing of it. On the way we stopped for lunch at this fancy restaurant. I went around the parking lot, and concluded that the Pimpstar was the worst car there, out of place in between the Cougars, Mercedes, BMWs, Lexus', and Porsches. Oho... new car time :) All I did at this cottage thing was get lost in the basement, try to drive the Bobcat, and watch tv. Nice place though. Tonite we rented some horror/suspense movie by Stephen King called Red Rose. Omg, it scared the crap out of me. It had a haunted house, with ghosts. Those are the best movies. But the worst ones to watch when the rest of your family has gone to bed and you're in the dark. Anyhoo, I enjoyed all 4 and a half hours of it. So now I'm puttering around, doing nothing, and listening to Sum 41.... ahhh.... the perfect nite.... tataa!
