| Front Reciever install: |
| I got my buddy and my dad to help me with my front reciever install. I decieded on a front reviever for three reasons. One, I can use it as a front tow point, two it stiffins up the unibody frame, and three later I want to buy a reciever mounted winch which can be used on the front and back. The total install took us about three hours. I will post a write up later with pictures. |

| Rear Shoes: |
| My buddy came over during spring break and we installed new brake shoes. Neither of us had any prior knowledge of drum brakes, we just went by the Hayes repair manual. We had minimal problems. I had more trouble getting the beeeder plugs loose to bleed the brakes, but afer a few minuents under a propane torch they came off with some coaxing from a Vice Grip. |
| After having the brakes lock up on me while slaming on them this winter and going on a four wheeler run and almost bombing a hill to prevent lockup I thought it was time for new brake shoes. |

| I guess this will go in the upgrade section. The other day when I came out from school I saw a horrible sight.... It was a big puddle of ATF fluid. I crawled under the jeep and found out it was the seal in-between the transmission and the transfer case. I am decideing to change the seal myself. All I need is the Hayes and a buddy. I have never even seen a transfer case out of a vehicle |

| I found the most easy way to get at those darn top bolts is to pull out the shifter linkage to get them loose |
| I decided to take off the adapter plate also because those bolts are easier to get at and come out easier, another plus is that the new seals have no way of getting runed by mis-alignment when putting back together. |
| if it is the output seal you should have fluid conming out of this weep hole. its in the adapter plate between the tras and the t-case |
| Posi-lock |
| After having the CAD go out again, I decieded to convert it to a cable lock. So I went to Bumper to Bumper and purchaced a choke cable its 9 feet long and found a write-up on the internet, Here it is, It dosent look to complicated. I think the hardest part will be machineing a bolt to hold the cable the rest should be easy.... |
