Our Loan Closet is a great success! The loan closet provides basic household furnishings to visiting faculty and fellows who come to the medical center for a short period of time. They ofter arrive into our country with us their suitcases. We welcome new or "gently used" household items, including small kitchen appliances such as coffee makers, toasters, vacuums, and clock radios. Sheet sets (full or queen) card tables, folding chairs, children's toys, bicycles, etc. are welcomed. Please make sure baby equipment such as high chairs, porta-cribs, car seats meet current standards. The loan closet makes a big difference for many visiting fellows and it is a great way to show them how much the medical community cares.
