Copy an Angle

Objective:

Sketch an congruent angle

 to angle ABC.

 

 

1.- Measure the distance B-H, and 

      place the tip of the compass at point

      E  to draw an arc that corresponds

      to arc G-H.

     ( see figure )

2.- Use H as the center and distance G-H 

      as the radius, place the tip of the 

      compass at point I to draw 

      an arc intersecting the previous

      arc at J.

      

3.- Draw a straight line  from point E 

      trough the  intersection of the 

      the red and green arc (point J).

     - Angle DEF is congruent to angle

       ABC.
