Mercury is currently working to make this concept a production reality. It is based on a Grand Marquis and should have over 300 horsepower. Handling will, of course, match the straightline performance.

The soon to be appearing Mercury Cougar S. It will have a higher horsepower engine (perhaps 195 or 200) and a stiffer suspension.
