1.0 INTRODUCTION
The troubles began not long before Senator Gobly and
the Malmori represenative Hachi aurgued on the floor of the
senate on Mondata.
It could be said it was partly the slowness of the governments
to help the Malmori from the beginning of their natural disasters.
their worlds were dieing, and it seemed to the Malmori they were
being ignored by the U.P.U.
the insult to the malmori increased when Centry Three and the
powerful world of Tarkasia (Home of the Corsair) joined the U.P.U.
1.1 GALACTIC SITUATION
This war torn part of the galaxy, had just began to heal,
or so it was thought. The United Planetary Union had just
began to strengthen it's core when the Malmori rose to
conquer it.
1.2 THE AKIRA SECTOR
The Akira sector include several dead worlds, some of which once
hid Pirate camps.Those worlds are laced with ruins of ancient
civilizations.
Planet Akira
The home of the desendants of Akir, Akir was a merchant's
son who was raised in a monistary, in one of the Lambdi zone
colonies. He was captain of a cargo ship transporting refugees
to U.P.U camp when disaster struck the ship causing them to
crash land on a dead world. The survivors, with Akir as leader
established themselves as a community. The planet Akir was
later equipped with a small space shuttle system, designed to
transport weather scientists to and from the weather station in
orbit.
Nell
Hidden in a hanger in the side of a plateau. an antique space-
ship belonging to an aging warrior named Zed.
1.3 HEPHAESTUS STATION
In it's hayday the Hephaestus station was a busy space port.
designed and built by the Tarkasians.
Station Construction
The station construction materials came from the mining colony
in the nearby astroid belt,the colony was abandoned soon after
the station was completed. Many of the colonists moved to the
station and lived there for many generations. The hul plating was
fabricated nearby on converted barges. when finished the barges
where launched unmaned into the sun.
Tarkasian Ships
The station was often serviced by Tarkasian ships, like the
cargo freighter Galopso.
1.4 TARKASIAN WORLDS
The Tarkasians are famous for their ship building, most worlds
in the sector use ships sold by the Tarkasians. The Tarkasians
where the closest thing to a resistance to the Malmori armada.
The Tarkasian Knights helped in the establishment of the new
Corsair,supplying weapons, ships, personel, uniforms ect.
1.5 THE MALMORI WORLDS
The Malmori were pilgrims that colonized several worlds in a
region of space. A spacial rift deposited a pulsar into a gass cloud
that boarders Malmori space. Once the gass cloud began to fade,
the civilization fell apart. The people became scavengers dregs of
the galaxy. The Tarkasian scientists were commissioned to help the
Malmori but the project failed.
1.6 THE VALKYRIE WORLDS
The worlds settled by the savage like valkyrie are better left
avoided at all cost. The Valkyrie hold a monopoly in the darpa
trade because only they can raise them on their worlds. A
matriarchal society void of any sort of moral code. They live for
battle and hedonistic endevors. the Valkyrie trade for trinkets
and shiny ornaments that amuse them. Many Valkyrie joined
the new Corsair and were forever honored as valued members.
1.7 WEAPON SYSTEMS
The weapons used in this part of the galaxy are simple forced
energy devices. Some are more complicated but not more powerful.
The complication may provide better range or accuracy. But for
thousands of centurys this type of weapon has not been improved
or replaced with a more powerful hand held assault weapon.
The Valkyrie pistol type G7-01
The G7 was commonly worn in a laced band on the upper thigh,
because of it's very light weight.
The Valkyrie Sunfire Blaster type A-H7
Worn with the are inside the handle shaft, the A-H7 is very
powerful. this weapon is still used by Valkyrie as a defensive
weapon.
Corsair blaster TH 739-G
the first weapon carried by the Corsair during their early years,
the golden days of the Corsair.
Earth Blaster Peace Keeper 1764
A famous weapon in the system after the battle of Akira, the
Peace Keeper was manufactured on a remote planet called earth.

Assassinator K1GP
The weapon systems a Tarkasian design, from a thousands years
forgotten technology from when the tarkasian civilization was
rampant with assasinations. Found among the remains of an
abadonded city on Akira. It was believed to have once belonged to
one of the Akra defenders who remains unknown. Few of these
weapons can be found in museums.
Tarkasian Heckow FF6
Used by the Tarkasians as stadard issue, and in the UPU fleets, the
FF6 is the most reliable forced energy assault weapon built in this
part of the galaxy. It was used by the Malmori until their defeat at
Akira.
Tarkasian Heckow FF7
An updated version of the FF6. It utilizes the best elements found in
the earth weapon, the Peace Keeper 1764. The FF7 was standard
issue for the Tacasian fleet and the New Corsair for many years with
few necessary upgrades.
1.8 SHIPS OF THE GALAXY
Varying in design most spacecraft in service are a fusion reactor
based system. fusion reactors, space time driver coils and vectored
exhaust devices. After the battle of Akira, new Zero point energy
devices were developed. Then Trans-demesional space travel
began in the Year H11801.
The Hammerhead
Built by the Tarkasians for the use of the UPU fleet.
The Corsair 6
A large spacecraft. Designed and built by the Tarkasians for use
by the Corsair.
The Tralter
A huge spacecraft, large enough to swallow medium sized
spacecrafts that happen to stray from the main trade routs.
Designed, built and used by the Lambda zone.
The Starfire
A single seat fighter craft equipt with a confined living area
and designed for long range interplanetary escapades. Designed,
built and used by the valkyrie.
The Avenger X
A small highly maneuverable spacecraft designed for speed
and can be equipt with a weapon systems with a few
modifications to the power converter. This up grade can diminsh
the short range sensors causing a blind spot in close quarter combat.
The Mining Gun Ship
Used in the mines on the moons of Malmori worlds they were
converted by the malmori hordes as gun ships in their attacks on
the UPU. The Hammerhead carried one thousand of the crafts during
their invasions of many defenceless worlds.
The Rebel General
Caro Haler type X7B
A cargo haler with only a confined living area and equipt with few
weapon systems this spacecraft began to be more common after the
battle of Akira.Alien to this part of the galaxy
