Heros of Akira
Episode VII
With the fall of the only known peace keeping force in
the galaxy. The evil Sador has taken possession of the
most powerful weapon, called a Stellar Converter.
A Massive ship slowly fills the sky.It is the malmori ship,
the Hammerhead.
Sador:Give me the second feild.
First henchman:At once sir, This is Akir a planet
of stone with a single green spot.
Sador:lets see it.
First henchman:Feild five, (Feild five)
Sador:What about their forms?
first henchman: Compatable with ours, they have
a solar technology,no known defence capacity!
Sador: Interesting lets check that!
First henchman: The only craft they have is an old
weather ship.
First weather scientist: We have a few cloud
formations, looks like negitive ions over the fetil
region nothing to wory about,as for that cold front-
Second weather scientist:Hay ( name ) I; pick up some
First weather scientist:We have visiters, hey there,
welcome to the outer atmosphere of the planet Akir!
second Weather scientist:Put it throught the language
translater!
First weather scientist: Hello could you identify
yourself please?
The Ship slowly overtakes the weather ship. and
destroys it.
The Malmori ship takes possition directly over the
the small city. The people of Akira gather directly below.
Sador: Hear me beings of Akira, I am Sador of the
Malmori. I have come with my forces to conquer you,
I possess a Stellar Converter, the most powerful
weapon in the universe. You cannot resist me, I want your
planet to feed my colony, your harvest comes in seven
riseings of your red giant, I will return then,and you will
accept me as your master.If you do not submit, Your planet
will be burned to ash.
Sador:(turns to his men) Snipers forward!!
first henchman: (repeating sadors order) Fire at will!
Laserblasts stike five people of Akir.
Sador: Merly a demonstration beings of Akir, I will return in
seven risings,You are mine!!!
Sador:Yago, Take a fighter to stay behind to wach them.
Sador: Full trust to Oomatil, I have a promise to kreep!
First Akir councilman:No,no,listen to me,we don't know how!
We live by the Varda, the Varda is not to fight!! The Akira
hasn't faught for century's
Zed: I have faught,and I'm a son of Akir!!
first Akir councilman: And are an an old man!
Zed: I've lasted this long by fighting.
Second Akir councilman: We are all going to be killed,we are
defencless!!
Zed: To fight creatures of violence, you must use creatures of
violence!
Second Akir councilman: Hire mercenaries?
Shads sister:We have no wealth to give them!
Zed: Creatures of violence fight for many reasons.
First Akir councilman: Why yes, but who will protect us
from these mercenaries?
Zed: For that we have the Varda!
Mol: Who will find them?
Shad: I will!
first Akir councilman: You, your a boy!
Shad: The varda teach us that each form has it's
function,
Lux: My brother is the only one who could fly
Zeds ship!
first Akir councilman: That's a junk pile?

Shad: I've taken her up, I think she trusts me!
Fade out
Two figures enter a dark hanger, a mammoth rust
colored ship fills the screen.
Zed:And your first mission?
Shad:Go to the Phoenix cluster and find the station
of Dr Hephaestus.
Zed:Best weapons man in the system! Drop my name,
hell be sure to help you, If he's still operative.
Zed:I'm turning the boy over to you Nell, take good
care of them!
Shad:Hello Nell. ( No answer)
Shad:Nell. hello Nell ( Still no answer)
Shad:Are you there old girl?
Nell:Nobody calls me that but Zed!!
Shad:Sooty,
Nell:This isn't going to be just another planetary
joyride, you know!
Shad:I know that Nell. I'll do my best not to let
you down
Nell: We'll see.
Shad:Anyway, I told them that you trusted me.
Nell: Your Ok, a little wet behind the ears.
Shad: The only thing we have to remember is,
If we don't make it, no one else will.
Ship launches
Shad: I spent my whole life in that city, this is
my first time away from home.
Nell: I'm your home now kid!

Meanwhile the Malmori rear guard
Tembo:What do you think it is Kedo?
Kalo:Maybe it's some of them tying to escape to
another planet.
Tembo:What do you think we should do?
Kalo:We don have orders about an escape attempt.
Tembo:So
Kalo:So we blow them up, (both laugh) just to be
on the safe side! (Laughing)
Nell:Malmori fighter,just one, but it's coming full
thrust!
Shad: OK Nell what do I do? Nell what do I do??
Nell:Lock it on target...weapons activated,..now
Blast them!
Shad: I cant!!
Nell: What?
Shad: I cant! If I blast them we'll tip or hand,
can we outrun them?
Nell: We sure as hell cant out fight them, not
with you in the drivers seat!
Kalo:Why are we slowing down?
Tembo:We were ordered to watch the planet!
Kalo: To hell with orders,I want that ship!
Tembo:Remember Lobo, he disobeyed orders now
sador is wearing his left foot..

Nell:Showing my backside to those mutant sons of-

Shad:My job is to find mercenaries, and I'm not Zed.

to the Hephaestus station.
Shad:This is a emissary from the planet akir.
The scene drifts over the space station, the mood
is Erie.
Shad:Dr H does anybody receive my transmission? I
guess we just go in, manual controls Nell give me the
docking thrusters please.
Inside the space station Shad encounters a bench car,
he sits in it, then suddenly handcuffs bind him to the
chair. The char takes Shad to the lab were he
meets Nanlia.
Nanlia:What have you come for?
Nanlia moves toward Shad with a unfriendly looking
tool.
Shad:(Choking)
Nanlia: Audio problem hugh,I'll have to take a look at
your banks.
Shad:Wait a minute,I'm not an android!!!
Nanlia: Your warm!
Shad:Of course I'm warm,I'm organic, haven't you
ever seen of an organic form?
Nanlia:No,not like my father.(pause)
Shad:What?
Nanlia:There are only the androids,I take care of them.
Shad:Well I see, If you would like to let me out of this
I'll explain why I'm here!
In the corridor Nanlia an shad ride to Dr H chambers.
Shad is in the middle of explaining his situation.
Shad:Unless I can bring back a fighting force to offer
some resistance we are finished,do you think your father
can help?
Nanlia:My father isn't the way he was when your friend
Zed knew him. you'll see.
Shad: As long as he gives us the weapons!
Nanlia: We are here! ( Stopping the bench car).
You go on alone, it is my fathers wish.
Nanleia rides away leaving shad entering Dr Hephaestus's
chambers.
Inside Dr Hephaestus's chambers.
Dr H: You are welcome, Shad of the Akira.
shad:Thank you doctor, this is quite a surprise.
Dr H:I heard of your story while you were in the corridor,
when you are in my station you are in my presence.
Shad:Well good,then we won't waste time,will you help us?
Dr H:I'm an old man,older even than ZED. I've seen wars large
and small throughout the galaxies. Forms must prey on other
forms to survive.
Shad:That's not what the Varda teach us,we prey on no one!!
Dr H: Your planet is doomed,and i have other plans for you.
Shad:Other plans?
Dr H: this station is built for many, It remains a hollow and lonely
place, You have met my daughter-
Shad:Yes; wait a minute, you dont mean, you don't mean you
want me to breed with your daughter.
Dr H:It seems a better fate than that offered by the
Malmori.
Nanlia watches from the lab thought a monitor,angrily she turns off
the android standing next to her.
Dr H:You will stay here in peace forever!
Shad: what about your daughter,have you asked what
she wants?
Dr H:Lepers,Skew,escort this gentleman to Nanlia's room, he has
alot to think about.
The bench car takes Shad back to the lab where Nanlia waits.
Nanlia:Hi,my father wanted me to talk to you,he means to keep you
here for me,I'm sorry.
Shad: I do not have time for this,don't you have enough toys!
(A long pause.)
Nanlia: He said you would be killed,I wouldn't want that. Meanwhile
back in Dr H chambers
DrH:Sauders prepare the conjugal suite,fresh bedding
everything.
Sauders:The gentleman will be staying then sir.
Dr H:He will,Nanlia will convince him.
Sauders:I'm sure she will sir.(Turning away yet again in
compliance)
Dr H: The defence of his planet is hopeless, he will
understand that.
Sauders:I'm sure he will sir.(Turning away again in compliance)
Dr H:we will have children here Sauders,noise laughter,life.
Sauders: It will be quite a change.(Turning away yet again in compliance)
The scene switches back to Nanlia's lab, where Shad is telling a story
about life outside the space station.
Shad:In the colder season every grass in the meadows change color.
Nanlia:Chlorophyll content.
Shad: whatever,they turn bright red, yellow, orange.
they change shade and wave when the wind blows.
Shad facing the android who has his gun.
Nanlia:Wind?
Shad:Yes wind,Its rather like your ventilation system,rapid ventilation,
it's bigger, it's wind.
Nanlia:I've scanned all these things in the data banks, but I've never
experienced them.
Shad:Did you know there is a form in the black galaxy whose children
have no immune system until the age of five cycles,that means that the
slightest trace of infection that they will just rot like fallen fruit.
Android: I have heard of them the Hudites
Nanlia:(Turning toward the android) Who asked you!
Shad:When they reach the age of five cycles,all the relatives gather
together in a special room,and watch while the child tare and bites at
their plastoid with their teeth and nails until it breaks out into it's
parents arms. feels their parents skin for the first time. feels the
wetness on their cheeks for the first time.
Android: It's horrible out there,forms preying on other forms, death.
shad:Most of them never do develop immunities,they die
shortly afterwards,but the Hudites still feel that the braking out
ceremony is very beautiful.
Nanlia:You really want to go back there,don't you,even If it's certain
you will end?.
shad:Oh yes, I'm going back!
Nanlia:Turning toward the Android. Step into the capture grid!!.
Android:I must warn you Nanlia that will cause the capture grid
to short circuit.
Nanlia: Oh.
The android steps into the arch over the doorway,lasers zap him and
he freezes while standing. Shad run to the door leading Nanleia in hand.
Shad:Come with me,you know about computers you can help.
Nanlia:I,I cant,my father!!
Shad:I wish I had time to stay and convince you, but it's your life, such
as it is.
Shad takes the laser gun from the frozen android.
Shad:(Looking at the fried android) dummy!
Shad leaves the lab with haste.Entering his ship Shad is greeted by Nell.
Nell: What took you so long?
Shad: He wanted me to stay for dinner.
Nell: How is old Dr Hephaestus?
Shad: He's not the man he use to be.
The ship drifts backward out of the docking port. Back in the lab Nanlia
stands in deep thought,with Shads words echoing in her head. In a moment
of decision she grabs a piece of equipment and runs out of the lab. Climbing
into the cockpit of a small craft she blasts off to fallow Shad.
Shad:No weapons at all?
Nanlia: No,but I brought an analyzer,we can predict their attack modes and
plan a defence.
Shad is silent,concerned that with no weapons an analyzer would be useless.
Nell: I'd like to exchange data with that thing,might be
some rinkles I should catch up on.
Nanlia:Who's that?
Shad:That's just Nell.
Nanlia:Nell?
Shad: I'll introduce you some time, back on Akir, Wait for me in the Lambda Zone.
Meanwhile on Sadors massive ship.
1st henchman:Our emissary has returned from Oomatil,
they have replied to our ultimatum.
Sador:And,what's this?
1st henchman: It is our emissary sir,they have powdered
him.(Sador throws the powder in the henchmans face,
there is a dramatic pause.)They are a proud form!!
Sador:In an hour they will be an extinct form,not a trace of them left, not
even their dust!!(with anger)
Meanwhile inside Shads ship
Shad:Do you think the girl will be alright crossing through the Lambda Zone?
Nell:In my day it was a pretty wild area, but it's probably tamed down like
everything else.
Shad: I suppose,shes a very interesting form Nell.(Drinking a refreshment)
Nell:Starboard side kid, we got some action.
Shad:what is it?
A small freighter is being bombarded with laser blasts from a small group of
hijacker ships.
Nell:The little one is a jacker, they are breaking down his forcefeild.
Shad:Then what?
Nell:Then incinerate him and steal his load.
Aboard the distressed cargo haler,space cowboy sings while the attack goes on.
Cowboy:Yea,..sixteen gamblers to carry my coffin,six pretty maidens to sing me to
(the jackers maneuver to attach to the cargo units,Space cowboy remains calm)
Cowboy:Oh Just lay the sod on me,for I am a poor cowboy, I know I've done wrong.
Space cowboy moves to the transmitter.
Cowboy:This is space cowboy SOS. mayday Help!
Inside Shads ship
Shad:Nell Can we help him?
Nell:Not without a fight!
The attacking ships are making progress.
Aboard the distressed cargo haler,Space cowboy checks his weapon systems.
Cowboy:They are just lucky I have no ammunition left!
Inside Shads ship
Shad:I have never taken life before Nell!
Nell:The Varda says we can take a life to save a life!
Shad:Ok let's do it, manual controls.
Nell:Lock it on target,fire,fire!!
Shad:No,not from behind
Nell:You got to fallow through!

The Ship fires on the jacker in the target lock. The
jacker explodes in a giant fireball. Aboard the distressed cargo haler.
Cowboy:(Shouting)Hurray for our side!
Inside Shads ship
Shad:You fired without me.
Nell:It had to be done.
Shad:You replaced my direct command,you fired without me, that which
is not organic may not harm-
Nell: harm that which is, I know,I know. It's a stupid rule, jackers to port,
sector three!
Shade destroys two jackers
Shad:I did it!
Nell:You had to kid,you've done fine.
The little haler docks along side Nell. Moments
later inside.Shad shows cowboy to the command
deck.
Cowboy:Fighting,listen,I've done more fighting than I've seen old
movies, which is saying allot because on long hauls that's all I do,
..Well..I have this greatest
collection of old westerns.
Shad:We need experienced fighters,would you care to
fight with us?
Cowboy:Uh,yeah,you see your fighting Sador,Sador has
never lost a war,he never quits,you fight Sador and got
a snowballs chance in hell!
Shad:Snowball?
Nell:Transmission from the planet Oomatil,the Malmori
forces have arrived.
Shad:Put up on screen Nell.
The Malmori ship opens it's forward bay and fires it's
weapon. Then the planet is turned into a glowing white
sphere.
Shad:The Stellar Converter
Cowboy:See what I mean,..Oomatil,That was my customer! How would
you like ten thousand mac laser forest and forty thousand charge
slides, they are paid for and I haven't got the fuel to get them home.
Shad:Your carrying weapons?
Cowboy:They are hand weapons,the best we make.
Shad:We are going to need weapons,but we won't know
how to use them.
Cowboy:Yeah..
Shad:and we'll probably need some one to teach us how to use the
weapons.
Cowboy:Yes,I could see that.
Shad:And we did save your life.
Cowboy:OK my rig is a haler not a fighter,I'll help set up your ground
defences. Agreed put her there (They shake hands) I'm not the Calvary!
Shad:The Calvary?
Cowboy:I'll Show you,you've got a treat in store for you,as a matter of fact
I'll show you Custers last stand!
Meanwhile Nanlia's ship encounters a glowing cloud of gas. It gets closer
and he ship is shaken. the little craft is swallowed by a monstrous ship, Nanlia
awakens hanging by her hands in a dark confined room, with steam billowing
everywhere.Cayman:Oomm,yes in deed, a very tasty looking morsel.
Nanlia:Who are you?
Caymam:Your savior,you are about to digested by a zime
Nanlia:A zime?
Cayman:A creature that consumes living organisms, we are zimers,
we cook them down for their protein,Oh I'm cayman of
the Lambda Zone, and these are my crew.
Two short men in white robes step close to Nanlia, their
body emit searing heat.
Nanlia:Your burning me!!
Cayman:They are Kelvin, cunin and dunin. The Kelvin
communicate by degrees of heat,and this is Quepeg my
crewman.
Nanlia:I'd like to thank you very much,now get me down.
Cayman:Now now don't be too grateful,I know a market
where a female form like yours will bring in some hay dust.
Nanleia:You would do that, you'd sale me?
Cayman:Well of course,live or for protein,I do what pays the most.
Nanlia:I'm hireing mercenaries,for a great battle for the planet Akira.
Cayman: Is that so, what could that planet
Akira offer me?
Nanlia: They have the richest magnesium deposits in the
system.
Cayman:Nice try hot blood I've seen Akira,and it has
absolutely nothing on that planet I want!
Nanlia:Your heartless,just like Sador!!! (angrily)
Cayman:Sador,Sador of the Malmori!
Nanlia:That's who we are fighting.
Cayman:Quepeg! So still lives does he. Your ship will
need some repair,Quepeg cut this zime loose,we cruise
for Akira.
Meanwhile inside Shads ship
Nell:We are being pulled in by something, feels like a
magnetic net,look sector two.
Shad:Damn it,prepare full thrust we'll break loose.
Nell:I'm not strong enough,remember the Varda.
Shad: Well what about the Varda?
Nell:Think,what would the Varda say?
Shad:Nell!!
Nell: Use greater strength against itself,it's our only
chance kid!

Shad's Ship is overtaken. And Shad awakens to find
himself in a white glowing room, standing on a circular
platform. Several peculiar men standing in the center
around a circular table.
Shad:(After waiting for a moment) Hello,Don't everybody
talk at once.
Shad pulls out his gun,
Shad: If I don't get some answers fast,I'm going to have
to use this thing!
Shads gun hand begins to shake as it rises to his head
Shad: Let me rephrase that.
Nestor: Your not of a violent form, we sensed that you did not intend
to shoot!
Shad:You read my mind?
Nestor: Among other things,we were monitoring your
travels you are seeking mercenaries for a great adventure,
we would like to participate.
Shad:Well we can't offer much in payment.
Nestor: No need, we are self-sufficient,we are Nestor.
Shad:All of you?
Nestor: This is a facet,these are but facets,there are
Hundreds of thousands like us scattered throughout the
galaxy,we are Nestor.
Shad:You are clones!
Nestor: In a matter of speaking,we share identical
what one sees all see, what one knows all know.
Shad: And all of you want to help us?
Nestor: These five facets,yes! four of us are required
to operate the ship.
Shad: Then what about the fifth?
Nestor: We always carry a spare! (Nestor hands Shad a
drink of blue liquid)
Shad:Thank you.
Nestor: You see there is only one Nestor, one consciousness,
as you might imagine this has proven very lonely,very dul.We
must avoid becoming,we belive you have a phase for it,
becoming board to death.
Meanwhile the rear guard assigned to watch over the
planet Akir are getting restless.
Look kado,a female
A wedding is taking place outdoors in the center of
the Akira city.
Lux: A bonding approved for procreation, a bonding
conceived in our face of our present crisis.
kado:We were ordered to watch the planet.
Tembo:Where is it going to go? come on, lets do it!
Kado:It would make you happy wouldn't it, what the
hay let's do it!
The small Malmori ship glides down to the surface.
Tembo:Beam her up Kado,beam her up!!
The energy beam picks up the Lux and the ship
returns to orbit.
Meanwhile inside Shads ship. Shad is sitting at the
bench drinking from a cool pack.
Nell:In the old days Hisconsa was the wildest cities
in the skylac system Movers, outlaws, adventurers, If
your looking for merc this is the place.
Shad enters the dark filthy remains of a lounge,filled
with gambling equipment,Audio systems,coins,dice. Shad
explores the chamber until a laser bolt nearly fries him.
Gelt: Who sent you?
Shad:(long pause)I'm on a mission for the people of Akir,
I'm hiring mercenaries to protect against an invasion. but
food and shelter is all I can offer in payment,all of our
wealth is in our culture.
Gelt:I can buy your planet ten times over for what I've
gathered in this room, plutonium,camium,craytine crystals,
I have been well paid for my work.
Shad:I'm sorry I've wasted your time.
Gelt: No wait... listen to the rest of it. I sleep with my
back to the wall, when I can sleep. I eat serpent seven
times a week,There is not a major city in this galaxy
where I can show my face or spend my wealth , right
now your offer seems very attractive to me.(Long pause)
A meal and a place to hide.
Later on Shads ship.
Shad: So what do you think of him?
Nell: He'll fight alright but he will fight alone!
Shad: I don't care,just as long as he'll fight.
Nell: Don't worry he'll be pointed in the right direction.
Shad:Wait a minute,.. what is it?
Nell:I don't know but it's right in my flight path,might be a
mercenaries answering your call.
Shad:In that pea shooter?
Nell:Look kid,in some galaxies that could be a big ship,
some aliens are not much bigger than your hand, but
they can be bad customers.
Shad:Who ever he is,I don't have time to play with him!
Nell:Put up the force field!
shad:What?
Nell:Put up the force field hurry!
Shad:What is it?
Nell: A challenge!
Shad:A what?
Nell:It seems he doesn't think this galaxy is big enough
for the both of you!
Shad: He's completely out matched,he must know that!
Nell: Don't lower the force field, he's too fast for you
to hit!!
Shad: But he keeps coming at me.
Nell: Ignore it,He cant hurt you forget it that's what
the Varda says.
Shad: I want a shot at him!
Nell: You get a couple of jackers and all of a sudden
your the scourge of outer space.
Shad: Will you just shut up and hep me fight him!!

A Blast of light seems to envelops the ship.
Shad:What was that?
Nell:A blank soft light no damage,I have a transmission.
An attractive female figure fills the monitor.
Saint Exmin: I'm Saint Exmin of the Valkyrie,I have
counted Coo on you,it was a very enjoyable fight!
Shad: Enjoyable fight?
Saint Exmin:We think all fighting is enjoyable, I've heard
of your battle with the Malmori, I wish to join you.
Shad: What are you going to do shoot blanks at Sador?
Saint Exmin: The Valkyrie are great warriors,in our youth
we must leave home and fight in many battles until we have
proven ourselves.
Shad: Well you've proven yourself to be a pain in the neck,
so why don't you just fly off!!
Saint Exmin:But I wish to fight!!
Shad: My planet is in danger and your playing tag with me,
your ship is a toy, you have no firepower.
Saint Exmin:It's one of the fastest in the universe.
Shad: Well, swift rain is little rain.
Saint: Exmin:But I want to join.
Shad: Well we don't want you, and we wont have you!
Nell: You were a little harsh!
Shad: You saw her, she was playing with me!
Nell: Yes,and she won.
Shad: Would you like me to short circuit your audio?
Shad's ship flys off leaving Saint Exmin behind.
Shad: Shad to cowboy,Shad to cowboy.
Cowboy: Where have you been Shad,your two martinis
late!
Shad: Got some help, we'll meet in the Lambda Zone,
Is that real smoke your putting in your lungs?
Cowboy:Yep and before you ask it is the worse thing
for you.
Shad:Well I don't think you should do it.
The Nestor's ship suddenly joins them.
Shad:Space cowboy meet Nestor.
Cowboy:Welcome Nestor,I'm from Earth ever hear of it?
Nestor:No but we
Cowboy:We how many you got in there?
Shad:I'll explain later.
Cowboy: Here comes somebody else, who's that?
Shad: Do you want your name used?
Gelt: My name is Gelt
Cowboy: Where you from Gelt,I'm from Earth you know
where that is?
Gelt: I was born in space.
Cowboy: Well, put it between us and I'll cover you.
Gelt: I don't like someone behind me.
Cowboy: OK you keep a scanner on our tail.
Gelt: I always do.
Nanlia: This is Cayman of the Lambda Zone
Shad: Thank you for joining us..
Cayman: I'm only in it for Sador I want his head.
Shad: Well your welcome to it!
Gelt: Someone fallowing us!
Shad checks his scanner, and sees the Valkyrie fighter.
Shad: Just ignore it, maybe she will go away.
Cowboy:Well you did alright Shad, turn her loose for Akira
All the ships fly away in formation.
Meanwhile at the Malmori rear guard in orbit of Akira.
Sounds of Tembo raping Lux can be heard from the lower deck.
Kado:One two three five six seven,Tembo come on up here!
Tembo:I'm busy!
Kado: forget about her, something is coming!
Tembo:What is it?
Kado:Something is coming, seven ships!
Tembo:Seven?
Kado: What do you think we should do, run away?
Tembo:Good idea!!
The Malmori ship takes off! Gelt closes in.
Kado:Hurry it's gaining on us!
Tembo:It can't be, we are at full thrust! try and get a sub heading.
Tembo:That's crazy, we don't know what it is!
Lux wearing tattered clothes fights Kado for the controls, causing
them to loose control. Soon Gelt destroys the Malmori ship and it
burns in a fireball.
Cowboy:Beautiful, I love to see a pro work!
Shad: I think we may have bought ourselves a chance!
The group enters the city.

Shad: I'm sorry,they must be afraid.
Cayman: Afraid, afraid of what?
Shad: Of you they are not accustom to violence or violent forms.
Saint Exmin:That's a hell of a note!!
Zed: Welcome to Akir!!
Shad: Why are you hiding,why are you all afraid,I have
brought these people to save your lives, this is not the
way to great them!
Mol: I'm sorry for the reception you got, the Varda
teaches us trust first and to judge later. Welcome to our
city defenders of Akir!
Nanlia: The warning system is operational,the Malmori
should reach us in a rotation and a half of this planet. we
have five fighting ships against twenty five of theirs,our
only hope is to try and knock out their stellar converter!
Saint Exmin: Is that passable
Nanlia: Watch the screen,.. like the rest of us, the
Malmori ship must lower part of it's force fields in order
to fire weapons. When the stellar Converter is about to be
activated the ships is extremely vulnerable.
Nestor: Maximum spread capacity,with a open shield
delivery system.
Nanlia: Exactly,They never bring out the converter until
all opposition has been eliminated, our first job is to strip
the big ship of it's protection.
Using the Varda's equipment trenches are built quickly
with sonic vibrations.
Cowboy: I've got some more surprises for any visitors are
going to build the galaxies biggest Malmori cemetery.
Space Cowboy is entertaining Mal with his refreshment
gadgetry.
Mal:what is that?
Cowboy:Scotch and soda.(Ice and liquids are poured from his
belt,Mal laughs).
Elsewhere Nanleia is getting acquainted with Saint Exmin.
Saint Exmin:Oh I could do wonders for that boy, Ill
recharge his capacitor, stimulate his cellinoid,Tingle dingle
dangle his transistors,you know sex!
Nanlia:I can't imagine what that would be like.
Saint Exmin: Stick with me,you'll get an education!
The two walk off.
Later the allies are waiting for battle in the trenches, Space
cowboy is roasting hot dogs over a fire. Nestor is curious about
the hot dogs.
Nestor: What is that you are eating?
Cowboy:That's a hot dog it comes from earth. try one.
Nestor: There is no dog in this. Hydrolyzed vegetable protein,
soybean meal, nyison dextrose, sodium nitrate flavoring.
Cowboy:That's what we call meat back home.
Two youths approach Gelt,who is sitting alone against a wall.
Akira Boy:Are you a bad man?
Gelt:Yes That's right.
Akira Boy:Why?
Gelt:I don't think the way you Akia do, If you think differently you
get called bad.
Akira Girl : How do you feel?
Akira Boy:Mister were you bad when you were little?
Gelt: I was never that little.
The next moment the alert Klaxon goes off,Shad approaches the group.
Shad: Alright very body they are coming, they've reached the
checkpoint so get to your ships.
Cayman: Se you later hot blood!!
Saint Exmin:Yeah, see you later hot blood.(pinches Shad's but)
Cowboy:So long,good luck partner.
Shad: Start the trusters Nell, I'm coming aboard.
The ships takes off and the battle begins,
Cowboy:Lux,why don't you come with me.
Lux:Cowboy, Our space alarm only works at three mimarks Sador
could see any liftoff,they would destroy you.
Cowboy:Oh,wonderful!
Lux:I like your company.
Cowboy:Thanks. (Space cowboy pours himself another drink.) Well
remember the alemo!!
Lux:You forgot the ice.
Cowboy:No,no I didn't!
The first fighter to reach sador's ship is Saint Exmin.
Saint Exmin:I'm Saint Exmin of the Valkyrie, I'm protector
of this planet. I order you to leave it in peace!!
Sador:Blast her out of space, launch attack drones.
Ship verses ship maneuvers ensue,finally the Valkyrie destroys
her attacker.
Nell:Alright Shad this one's ours!
More shooting, after several shots he gets one.
Nell: At a boy Shad!
Cayman begins his run and at the big ship, after careful shooting
Cayman fails to get it.
Gelt begins next and five ships are dispatched to stop him, he destroys two.
Nell: Uh, oh a nuclear missile,only cance with thease babies is to outrun
them! It's locked on, cant knock it out!!
Shad:Alright let's head for sador!
Shad leads the missile into Sadors ship, the missile explodes on impact
damaging an engine.
Geltmakes a run for the Hammerhed and Gelt's ship is damaged.
Shad: Gelt, Gelt are you alright?
Gelt:That remains to be seen Shad, Have a nice life.
Get's ship crashes.
The Malmori begin landing on the planet. Space Cowboy leads the ground
resistance.
Cowboy: Alright boys,the @#!*s have landed,section two get to your posts, section
five check, section three wait here! Move it kick @# boys kick @#!
In the trench Space cowboy casually strolls into the open. He gives a singnal
and the Akira men begin firing into the Malmori front. The Malmori return fire. The
brave Space Cowboy fires while standing in the open. As the resistance withdrew the
malmori are lead into a trap, a stone slab barricade drops before them. Soon the
Malmori ground forces are forced to retreat.
Malmori Sargent: Retreat, call in the Sonic Tank!!
A strang sound fills the dark trenches with shouts of pain from many Akirian
defenders. The sonic tank has gained the Malmori ground.
Cowboy: What the @#!*s is that?
Nanlia: Some sort of sonic weapon, we can't defend against it!
Cowboy:Mabe a another rockslide will stop it, come on!
After several minuts of carnage. Lux come with a message.
Lux: The three rockslide did'nt work!
Nanleia: The sonic weapon is jamming the sensor!
First Akir councilman: We gotta get out of here, we'll all be killed,
we'll all be killed!!
At that moment a Malmori blast hits the first councilman in the back,
killing him. The battle rages on for some time, and the malmori gaine
ground again.
The exhausted and broken Akir defenders sit along the walls of a
strong hold waiting to regain their strength.
Nanleia: The sonic tank, their wearing sound vests in case we get in front
of it. Even if we plug our ears we can't.
At that moment the two Kelvin approach Cowboy and Nanleia a
Cowboy:Will you two radiators stand back, it's hard enough to think!!
Nestor: It seems they are volunteering
Cowboy:Yeah, what can they do?
Nestor: For one thing, the Kelvin have no ears!
Later the kelvin hop in front of the sonic tank and emit a massive amount of
heat and light causing damage to the sonic tank. The kelvin fall to the ground
dead.
A crowd of Akir defenders gather around Space Cowboy.
Cowboy: Let's go get'em!
More lazer blasts fill the screen, men falling and dieing left and right. Battle
chaos ensues, the Maolmori fall back again. Zed beats a malmori soldier with
his staff, and takes a blast in his back.
Meanwhile in the middle of the space battle, Nell is silent. Shad begins
wondering what caused her silence.
Shad: What's the matter, what's the matter?
Nell: I recieved a transmission
Shad: What is it?
Nell: Zed the Corsair has ended!
Shad: Oh, I'm sorry. (dramatic pause).
Nell: He was the last of the great ones.
During a break in the fighting, shad helps in the Makeshif clinic and is seen
putting a medical paist a wounded soldier as Saint Exmin enters the room.
Saint Exmin: Shad, did you see me on the monitor,There was a drone right on my tail,
they pulled out, they smashed into an astroid!!
Shad:This might be a game to you, but these are my people!!
Shad hands the medicine to the priest and gets up,and leaves the room. Saint Exmin
fallows him outside.
Saint Exmin: I forgot about your Varda. I'm from a warrior race, our crede is to live
fast, fight hard and have a beautiful ending!
Shad: No violent ending is beautiful!
Saint Exmin: You have never seen a valkyrie go down!
Whith that saint Exmin walks away, leaving shad standing silent.
Then Shad turns toword Gelt and is stopped by a medic who givese a gesture of
hoplesness. Shad then aproches Gelt who is on a cott, gravely wounded.
Shad:Gelt!
Gelt: Had to move in, half the universe is tring to kill me, I had to volenteer to be shot!
Shad:Just lie still, we sent for a healer.
Gelt:Please stand off on a minor planet in a third rate galaxy.
Shad: Have someone prepare a meal.
Medic: A meal?
Shad: Full course, then have them bury it with him.
Medic: Bury it?
Shad: That was our arangement, a meal and a place to hide!
Later the remaining defenders enter the command center. A Nestor had been alowed
to fall into Malmori hands.
Nestor:The facet that has been left there has been aranged to be captured, what one sees
all sees. We'll be getting a picture soon!
The remaining Nestors turn toward the controls and begin raising their arms.
Meanwhile abord the Malmori Hammerhead. A Nestor facet is bound on an operating
table, Sador stands next to him while the doctor makes preparations.
Sador: Are you capable of speach?
Facet: Yes, quite capable.
Sador: Good, and do you have a high tolarance for pain?
Facet: Almost none at all.
Sador: How unfortunate for you, how many ships do the Akira have and what are their
capabilities?
Facet: If I tell you, it would give you an unfair advantage.
The surgon slips on a pair of grey rubber gloves.
Sador: This is my surgon Doco, Doco is an expert at inflicting pain.
While keeping the paitent alive.
Facet: It's good to have skills.
Sador: Wont give us the information?
Facet: No.
Sador: I think you will,...Doco.
Doco: Lord Sador!
Sador's personal surgon begins removing the facet's arm with a
chainsaw like device.
Meanwhile on Akira.
Nestor: It is true, we can not tolerate pain. that facet has ended.
Nanleia cries, turning to Shad for comfort.
Doco: He is dead sir,he gave no indication of terminal.
Sador: The arm, the arm, hurry!!
Moments later Sador is waring the facets arm.
Sador: You are an artists, but when we conqure Akira and we have some
time, we've got to do something about this.
Sador holds up his old glove that happens to not match the facets two
fingered hand.
As he streaches out the arm, it suddenly shows signs of having it's own
mind. The nestors stand moving their arms just as the arm Sador wears
moves. The Nestors go through the motion of slitting their throughts,
Sador fights the arm. Sador come close to killing himself.
Doco: sador no!
Sador: I can't stop it!!
Doco: drop the knife!
Sador: Cut it!!
Doco and Sador struggle with the knife, finally it falls to the floor as
Sador is pushed onto the table. the shainsaw is moved into position.
meanwhile on Akira the Nestors drop their collective hands,
Nestor: We have failed.
Shad violently throws a transparent map to the floor. the other defenders
stand around the table.
Shad: We've had it!!
Saint Exmin: the Valkyrie never admit defeat, never. I don't know about the
rest.
Sait Exmin walks away.
Nestor: While life exists the possiblities are unlimited.
With that the Nestors walk out of the room in single file. While the other
defenders silently watch them leave. Later Sad is working inside his ship
when Nanleia enters.
Nanleia: Shad.
Shad: I never should have brought you here..your father was right.
Nanleia: I want to go up there with you, it's my life I could risk it if I want to.
Besides i could help you up there.
Shad: You know, I really should'nt say this... but I want you up there with me.
I'm terrified.
Nanleia: So am I ,we'll be together,... OK.
Shad: OK.
As they kiss and embrace, Nell chimes in.
Nell: Terrific now I have two babies to sit for.
Shad:Nell Shut Up
Sador's dark dreary Hammerhead moves in to position over Akira for another
attack. Sador stands in the middle of the bridge, Doco stnds beside him adjusting
Sador's armless sleave.
Sador:Prepare all ships for a full scale attack,..they can burn, burn!!
Shad's Ship breaks orbit heading straight for the hammerhead. The Corsair
ship is fallowed by the Lamda Zone ship, the small Valkyrie ship and Nestor's
saucer like craft. Caman begins the fireing, blasting at a malmori gunship.
Saint Exmin chases another gunship and destroys it. The Corsair ship banks
as Shad focuses on his prey, he blasts it to free floating atoms. Nestor's ship
takes on heavey fire. The saucer maneuvers to avoid the laser blasts. Suddenly
Nestor's ship is damaged and spins out of control.
Aboard the corsair ship Nanleia reports the situation over the communications
network.
Nanleia: Nestor is hit, repeat Nestor is hit!!
The wounded craft countinues to spin, the facets continue to work the controls
until the saucer is blown up by a well placed blast.
Aboard the hammerhed bridge Sador aproches his main gunner.
Sador: Ready the steller converter, fix on the planet Akira!
The hammerhead main forward door rolls up, as the steller converter move into
firing position.
Nanleia: He's bringing out the stellar converter.
On the planet of Akira Lux and Space Cowboy exchange expressions of grief.
Space Cowboy gives Lux a kiss.
Space Cowboy: You pretty thing.
Space Cowboy walks off to join in the battle. Moments later Saint Exmin moves
in to make her run.
Sador: Lower the forcefeild!
First henchman: But Sir!
Sador: Lower the forcefeild!
The hammerhead finally reaches firing position. Saint Exmin's craft darts
straight for the stellar converter, she screams as her cockpit module ejects
to a safe distance. The Valkyrie fighter explodes on impact damaging the
steller converter.
Sador: Fire on the planet!
First Henchman: It won't fire, it's has been damaged.
Saint Exmin drifts in space helpless as two malmori gunships drop into
position surrounding her.
Saint Exmin: I'm Saint Exmin of the Valkyrie, It's been a very enjoyable fight.
The female warrior holds up a wand and engages a detonator. The little craft
explodes taking the two gunships with it.
Witnessing the explosion Shad quotes the warrior.
Shad: Live fast fight well and have a beautiful ending.
Sador: All drones in protective formation, retreat behind the sun.
Malmori engineer: Rotate engines one eighty degrees.
Space cowboy's ship slowly lifts off and leaves Akira behind. the lambdazone
ship closes on to the Hammerhead.
Space cowboy: well well!
Camen: This is Camen of the Lambda Zone, turn around you over aged
degenerate and we'll bump heads.
Sador: What do you make our force feild at?
First henchman: Ten secs.
Sador: And theirs
First henchman: It's a cyber ten, ten too!
Sador of what form are you?
Camen: I am of the Lazuri!!
Sador: I had thought I had the honor of making that for extict long ago,
I wont fail this time!
Sador signs off, and has a laugh with his crew.
Sador you son of a @!#%&. this is Space Cowboy from the planet earth!!
Two malmori gunships take on the small earth ship. Space cowboy fires
franticly. The two gunships are blown to bits. The hammerhead launches
two torpedos, they track the haler and explode sending it into a spin.
Space Cowboy: Thirty seconds until impact.
Space Cowboy begins playing his song on the harmonica. Until his
spacecraft plows into the planets atmosphere.
Shad: They did'nt want to fight, but they came anyway!
The Lambda zone ship takes position.
Camen: Vas-olay!
Cayman shouts a war cry as he bigins his attack. A volly of laser blasts
are exchanged between the hammerhead's surface guns and the small
Lambda Zone craft. The Lambda Zone ship is quickly destroyed.
Shad: I've got to get him, he'll come back with more ships and we'l never
be done fighting!
Nell: I'm no mach for his force feild Shad!
Shad: I don't care Nell, I want a shot at him. If we go for him he might just
open up, give me full thrust Nell!!
Nanleia: Shad!
Nell: Think of the Varda, what is the first law of the Varda?
Shad: Don't worry. there is four of them!
Nanleia: Coming up on the left!
Shad: coming up on the left, give me three points on the left Nell, now two
points on the right. Now I've got them! I've got them nell!
A nuclear topedo explodes and nearly destroys the Corsair.
Nanleia: Shad are you alright?
Shad: How are you?
Nanleia: I'm fine, Nell what's your status?
Shad: yes, damage report Nell.
Nell: what did you say?
Shad: damage report Nell
Nell: Who's that?
shad: Better check her fuctions, Nell it's Shad are you damaged?
Nell: Shad, I dont't know a Shad!
Nanleia: Her motor fuctions are intact but I'm not getting anything from her
memory banks!
Nell: Who's that girl!
Nanleia: You betterswich to manual!
Shad: I'm swiching to manual Nell!
Meanwhile
First henchman: that's the las one sir!
sador: What is it?
First henchman: An old Corsair, by the way it moves we must have cripled it.
Sador : Bring it in on the tractor beam. i want them taken aboard alive! Akir
is mine!
Shad: Damn, Nell can you do anything at all?
Nell: I don't know, kinda fuzzy, if I just can remember!
Nanleia: Cant let them take us.
Shad: Don't worry, I'll blow this ship first!!
Nell: First law of the Varda is....
Shad: The first law of the Varda is to use greater force against itself. Nanleia
watch the feild sensors and then reverse the thrusters, we are going to run
for it.
First henchman:the've reversed thrusters!
Sador: Just keep the beam on them.
Nanleia: They'll be able to board us!
Shad:It won't make any differance.
First henchman: There they are, at the forward vent.
Sador: Get up there I want them alive.
First henchman: Go, let's go!
Shad: Nell, I'm going to program you to self destruct!
maybe we can blow that converter back up!
Nanleia: Right Shad.
Nell: We go back a long way.
Shad: Will you do it Nell.
Nell: Just go yourself into the projectile.
Nanleia: Projectile?
Nell: You don't think i'll blow myself up while you are still inside me.
First henchman: Get inside that hing now, Now!
Shad: Just give us enough time to get clear Nell.
Nell: Thirty seconds and counting Zed! twentynine, twintyeight, twentyseven,
twentyfour, fifteen,twentytwo. Did I say fifteen?
Shad: Why don't start from ten Nell!
Nell: So long Zed!
Shad: So long Nell!
Nell: Nine, eleven, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, twelve, nine, fourteen,
fifteen, fifteen, sixteen.
Escape pod ejects.
Sador: This is Sador of the Malmori, I command you to surrender!
Nell: I'll surender you son of a mutant, five four...
Nell explodes and a chain reaction flows through the hammerhead.
Sador: Fire up the converter access.
First henchman: It's going to blow, we are all going to die!
Sador: That cant be, I'm going to live forever, I want to live forever!!
The hammerhead blows up, sending fire balls everywhere.
Shad:We did it, I cant believe it!
Nanleia:But Saint Exmin and cowboy.
Shad:Nanleia, the Akira believe that no form ends until all the lives it
has touched are ended, until all the good it has done is gone. They are
now a part of Akira. And they will always be with us.
Now the Lambda Zone spacecraft aproches the hammerhead.
Camen: I'm Camen of the Lambda Zone. you over aged mutant, turn
around or we'll bump heads!
Sador: What form are you?
Camen: I am of the ----!
Sador: I thought I had the pleasure of making that form extict! I'll do
much better this time.
Sador and his henchman share a laugh.
Sador: Blow him out of my sky!!
First Henchman:Yes Sador!
The Lambda Zone ship takes evasive action but is quickly destroyed.
Space cowboy's spacecraft begins it's run.
Space Cowboy: This is space cowboy, of the planet earth!
The little carg haler fires a barrage of blasts yet only manages to desrtoy
one malmori gunship. The earth ship is soon destroyed in a fireball.
The Corsair takes on a frontal assault, and takes a hard hit. With the
bridge smoking Shad comes up with a last ditch plan.
Shad:self destruct!
Nell: fourtyseven, twenty, eight.
Shad:why don't you start with ten?
Shad and Nanlia both begin heading for the escape pod. The Corsair heads
directly into the hammerhead and explodes.
Sador Power up the converter activator.
First henchman: We can't it has been damaged, we are all going to die!
Sador: That's not possible, I'm going to live forever, I'm going to live forever!!
At that moment the entire battleship explodes in a bright ball of fire.
Nanlia:They are all dead, all of them.
Shad: The Varda says that as long as we remember them, they are not really gone.
Nanleia: Then, they are still with us.
