Tear It Up: Nothing To Nothing LP (Deadalive records)

By Tuomas Koskinen

A couple of guys said that I should get this LP so I did...

The subject is good old school hardcore and I would say there's some rock influences too. It's not hard to get into this record. It's fast, melodic, raw, and has some sing-a-long choruses. Maybe something like Black Flag flirting a little bit with Guns 'N Roses. Actually, the hidden bonus track is Rose Tattoos Nice Boys and it's even better than the original.

Lyrics are mostly about getting fucked up and there's a couple of songs about relationships (or Relationshits which is a name of one of the songs) too. But there's some other subjects too. The stuff that's good in this kind of music.

I've been listening to Nothing To Nothing a lot for a week, almost every day. This is a good LP and if you have any interest in old school hardcore, pick this up. I don't know what to else write. Good shit.
