I read that Nasum and Rotten Sound are good bands so I went to check em out...
Cause For Effect played first. CFE had only two members, a drummer and a bass player who did the vocals too. Their style was fusion-jazz/grindcore. I knew their style before the gig, but I didn't know how close that term actually was! Those bass lines were AWESOME! Sometimes I felt that it was waste of great lines because, like you know, usually punk music has like eight chords in each song, but this guy played more and more. The songs were short, maybe 30 seconds or something like that. The bass player growled words out when he sung. This band is something that you must hear before you believe that someone plays this kind of stuff. And I wish no one will shoot me, but I have to say I like them the most.
The second band was Rotten Sound. They played totally killing grindcore and did it damn well, but while watching their set I noticed that grind is not my kind of stuff. I'm more of a rock 'n' roll boy. Most of the people were really excited and it was nice to see some action in the pit.
The last band was Nasum from Sweden. They played grindcore too. And I have to say the same things I said about Rotten Sound: good, killing grindcore stuff, but not really my thing. The singer of the band was happy to see so many punks at the gig. Nice to hear someone likes us ;) At the end of the gig the band took a couple of photos of their audience. I think I have to do the same thing if I have a band that will tour around the world...when their set was over I went to my car and drove to home but...
...when I was driving home I notice something was wrong. I heard some sound, but I thought it was nothing and turned the radio louder. But when I drove maybe 5 kilometers I noticed the car was harder to drive. Then I thought I should check if a tire blew out or something. And so it was! So what can I do? I had no choice but to replace the tire. It was kind of a funny situation because the next day was a schoolday and my wake up call was at 7 am. When I started to replace the tire it took some time because it was dark and I had only a flashlight in my mouth. Actually I was home at 1:50 am so it took only 20 minutes to replace the tire...
