Nobody�s Fools consists of 5 guys from the San Jose area (California). I must say, when I first heard their CD, I was surprised that the band I was listening to was still in high school! Generally, high school bands have the same kind of sound � lots of feedback, pointless lyrics, and muffled vocals because the band members� heads are too far up their asses, but not NF! These guys have a highly developed sound.
Lead singer, Dillon, can really belt out the lyrics. The bass lines (spewed out by Rob) are excellent, especially in �Take Back the Scene�. Joel and Mario give NF a real punk rock feel with their grinding guitar riffs. Drummer, Sergio, keeps the beat.
The songs are really good, you could definitely sing along with them. �Take Back the Scene� is about a new generation taking over things in the punk rock scene. �We�ll Show You� is about being sick of people�s bullshit, which is something, I�m sure, all of us can relate to. �Bomb the Taliban� is pretty self-explanatory. Some people might not agree with this, but something tells me this band doesn�t care what others think about them. �K.O.� is about fucking up people who talk shit. Once again, this seems like something plenty of us have thought about before. �Drinkin� Nights� includes a sound clip from The Simpsons (Homer singing �When I was 17, I had some very good beer��), it makes you chuckle. �Hooligans in the Night� is about being a skinhead � getting drunk & fighting.
