Homosexuality is kind of a taboo subject in this world. Some people think it's ok and many people have some prejudices against gays. I just wonder why. If someone is gay, it�s not anyone else�s problem. Yet still, some rednecks are like "Fucking queers, let's bash 'em up!"
Though truthfully, this is kind of unfamiliar to me. I'm not gay and I guess I don't know anyone who is gay, but if someone who I know does end up being gay that wouldn't be a problem. It's not my concern who is someone's girlfriend or boyfriend or what his or her gender is.
If some gay guy gets a crush on me, well, I'm sure that at first it would be weird, but in a way it's flattering too. It's almost the same when some girl who is interested in me but I'm not into her. The only difference is that our gender is the same.
I think heterosexuals should be glad that there's gays because then there's not so much competition over girls.
If we're thinking globally, there are too many people in this world. That's a fact and we all know it. Think how many more people in this world would have if all of those gays and lesbians are heterosexuals and have two or three children? Yep, too many.
While I�m writing about homosexuality I�m wondering what's wrong with them having the right to adoption? Some people resist that. Is it because the child won't have mother or father? Today we have a lot of single-parents. If there are two homosexual people, in a way it's like two single-parents. Which family would be better: the family where two homosexual people who love and take care their child? or a traditional, all too common, hetero-family where daddy is an alcoholic and beats up his kids and wife? I have also heard of another argument that gays should not be allowed to adopt because then the kids would be subjected to bullying by their peers. Yeah, sure a bunch of rednecks and their offspring will do that. Parents should raise their child so that they will accept different people. When gay families become more numerous, I guess the tolerance will rise more as well.
I've read many opinions that say gays can't be skinheads. Would someone explain to me why not? If a gay believes in skinhead values why can't he be a skinhead?
I hope this text will not start a war, but I hope people will begin to think.
