I guess its been almost a year since I got this record, but its so easy to review so why shouldnt I do it?
I still remember when I downloaded White Trash Anthem on my computer. When I listened to it I was knocked down. I knew that I had to get this record. And when I had a chance, I ordered it.
And I can say this is a fucking great album. Maybe even one of my all time favorites. This really kicks ass. I love the way White Trash Rob writes songs. I love those riffs too. Lyrics are ironic White Trash style with FTW attitude. Its Blood For Blood, how we love it. And of course someone will whine something like theres only hate etc...but I think thats not quite right. White Trash Rob is just telling his opinion about the world we live in. And how he does it, I just love it. And at least I can agree most of things hes saying even though I havent ever lived in the slums.
All of the songs are fucking awesome Hardcore Rock And Roll. But if someone put a gun to my temple and forced me to say my three favorite songs, I would say White Trash Anthem, Some Kind Of Hate and the old classic Bitch Called Hope which is a faster version than that is on Revenge On Society. These Boston anti-heroes also cover the Bruisers Bloodshed and they do a great job. I never heard the original version, but I dont know how anyone could make it better.
In the inlet, WT-Rob tells us why he wrote those songs and its funny to read. There are no lyrics, but you can find them at www.whitetrashrob.com like the booklet says.
I think it was kind of useless to review this because all of you have this already, but if you dont, get this somewhere. Did you get it?
