PURCHASING PRACTICES POLICY COMMITTEE
(CLEAN CLOTHES COMMITTEE)
The committee consists of several members of faculty and students at the University of Maine at Farmington. The committee’s charge is to recommend to the President of the University ways to make operational the principles listed in UMF’s Policy on Good Purchasing Practices. Members serving on this committee will help ensure that our suppliers of clothing, uniforms, footwear, textiles, and items bearing the university insignia conduct their business in a manner which upholds the rights and dignity of workers.
