My name is Michael and I am Phoenix's personal journalist. I follow her to all her matches and jot down notes so that I can give YOU the fans a detailed description of just what went down at our dear Firebird's most recent challenge! Phoenix debuted her in ring abilities at AWF's homebase last nite. Although she has been quite a prominent force in the men's matches since the summer of 2001 in the AWF, she had yet to step in the ring against either of the top Canadian female wrestlers, La Felina or Miss Tracy. After La Felina was unmasked at the last AWF show due to Phoenix's interefence as the special guest referee, Felina knew she had to get someone to call it right down the line....none other than ....MISS TRACY!!!!
Felina debuted her hott new look! You've gotta see this metallic blue catsuit to believe it! And Tracy looked absolutely sizzlin' in her referee outfit!
But back to the match! Things started off with Phoenix, managed by the WWF's infamous impressionist, Jason Sensation, spouting off her usual arrogant antics. AFter Felina hit Phoenix with a barage of quick pin attempts and fast paced moves, the Fabulous Firebird quickly sought refuge outside of the ring with her loud mouth counterpart. Tracy, not willing to put up with Phoenix's games, ordered the cowardly blonde to get back into the ring. Unfortunately, at that time Jason snuck into the ring and viciously slammed Felina to the ground by her hair! Phoenix then capitalized. She pounced on Felina with stomps, chokes and various slams. Felina was beaten with a sidewalk slam, a bodyslam and slaps to the face.
Then Phoenix tossed the resilient Felina into the corner to deliver her infamous chops. She laid into Felina with one devastating blow. Then another (OUCH!!!) The crowd went nuts cheering on their exotic beauty to turn the situation around! But Phoenix went to the well once too often and Felina blocked the third chop! After a flurry of chops she tried to send Phoenix to the other corner but was reversed. She took the corner hard on her already weakened back. AFter more interference by Jason and more cheating by Phoenix, Felina gained the advantage and whipped Phoenix into the corner. She charged and hit Phoenix with a rolling frankensteiner! Felina quickly took Phoenix to the other corner and attempted the same move...but unfortunately, Phoenix caught Felina and delivered a devastating powerbomb.
The arrogant Phoenix demanded that Tracy decide this to be a no-contest due to Felina's inability to compete on her level. While Phoenix argued, Felina collected her wits and had a surprise waiting for the Firebird! She nailed Phoenix with a flurry of clotheslines and dropkicks. Then with the Firebird frazzled, she brought her to the middle of the ring to deliver a mean DDT. Hoping to help out his fallen talent, Jason nailed tracy from behind before she could make the 1, 2, 3 count. He then turned his attention to Felina. He sent the slinky feline off the ropes but she caught him with a sunset flip! When Jason refused to go down, Felina pulled his pants down and we saw a full moon! Meanwhile Phoenix regained her wits and attempted to sneak up on Felina by grabbing a hammerlock. The quick Felina vaulted over and behind the Firebird to roll her up as Tracy counted the 1, 2, 3!!!!
Phoenix may have been beaten this time, but she will be seeking revenge when she takes on Felina January 18th at Humber College (see upcoming shows for details!)
