"I'm in the Science/Tech. Section." you reply.
"Okay! Thats perfect, actually... Why don't you find out about the base's...uh, location. Survey what is surrounding it, how its uses its resources, and its facilities..." he trails. He hands you his notes. "If there are any questions, just call." Smiling, he turns to leave.
You are rather disappointed, expecting to be given a little more than just reporting the base's characteristics.
Calling, you say, "Well, hold on a second. Why not do a study on the newest military designs or something. Its a new base, so.."
He turns back around with a small frown. "I know what you mean, but we just don't have the clearance." he thinks for a second and his face softens. "If you really wanted, mabey you could interview someone in Regulations or a spokesperson or something." he gives you thumbs-up and walks off.
Sighing, you go back to your desk.
