Objective

Present Assignment
January 1996 to present	Reporting to Project Director: Responsible for MIS reports regarding various project activities, Technical Procurement, launch various inquiries scrutinize technical and commercial proposals clarify technical queries. Monitoring Local manufacturing in relation to design completion and our site requirements etc etc. Coordination between various functions within and out side the company. Study various proposals, study drawings and layouts, give presentations to the management regarding project implementation. Have successfully setup computer aided drawing and documentation center. . Past Experience
December 1993 to December 1995	Reporting to General Manager Responsible to develop spare part from designed various parts manufacturing drawings through AutoCAD. Managed an in-house close circuit cement mill project increasing output from 21 to 30 tons per hour. Assisted General Manager in future expansion plans of installing 600tpd clinkering plant the project was successfully negotiated with HMC, Taxila. Developed plant maintenance plans and information system for various functions. Introduced computer based project planning and drawing creation facilities, and put these to use for storing previous engineering data and close circuit and future projects plans All drawing, schematics, layouts and flow sheets are being kept physically as well as on computer media. AutoCAD and MS Project / timeline packages are being used. While internally developed software packages are being used for plant and machinery data. Besides frequent use of MS Office packages. . July 1992 to October 1993	Worked in computer based project planning section. Specially Designed Oracle-CAD interfaced package was used. Got training on this project management software under French experts guidance. Generated many schematics and layouts for execution and later as built drawings for onwards submission to PTCL. . September 1989 to June 1992	Got formal training in CAD/CAM/CAE software. Worked in Central Design Bureau, Pakistan steel producing spare parts manufacturing drawings for various complexes. Worked in Precision Engineering Complex P.I.A on a CAD/CAM project. Participated in Training activities at Pakistan Steel and P.I.A. .	Integrated Control System (ICS), Karachi Senior CAD Engineer
August 1988 to August 1989	Trained Pakistan Navy personnel in Propulsion Plants vis a vis Gas Turbines, Steam Plants and Diesel engines. Conducted a special course on Gas Turbines for allied officers from Gulf countries. Participated in curriculum development and Databank development activities. January 1986 to June 1988	Promoted and assigned to Production department for handling shop floor activities. Making Requisitions, production reports, shortages and reclamation reports. Productivity graphs etc. etc. Later assigned to work directly under General Manager Technical for preparing project report on flexible manufacturing system conducted to accommodate various type of engines on our manufacturing and assembly plant. July 1985 to December 1985	Joined as Trainee Engineer got training in various departments of Diesel Engine manufacturing plant.
