RTJ 3 - Golf Courses

Grand National - Auburn/Opelika

The complex is located about 100 miles west of Atlanta.  It consists of two 18 hole regulation courses (Lakes & Links) and one 18 hole short course (all par 3's).    Grand National has been the host site for such notable events as the 1997 Nike Tour Championship, 1998 LPGA Tournament of Champions, and the 2000 NCAA Men's Division 1 Golf Championship.

Cambrian Ridge - Greenville

The complex is located about 45 minutes southwest of Prattville.  It consists of three 9 hole regulation courses (Sherling, Loblolly, and Canyons) and one 9 hole short course.    Each course will provide you with a different look.. from an Augusta like setting to target golf with 200 ft elevation changes.

Capitol Hill - Prattville

The Capitol Hill complex is the only stop on the trail with three 18 hole regulation courses...each with a style all it's own.  The Senator is a traditional Scottish-style layout which has served as host to the season ending Buy.com and Nationwide Tour Championships.  The Legislator will remind you of courses you might play in North Carolina.  And you'll want to bring along your camera when playing The Judge as it provides dramatic holes and scenery.  The photo at the top of this page is the opening hole.. a par 4 with a 200 ft drop from tee to green.  Don't let the woods to the left, river to the right, or state capitol in the distance distract you!

Be sure to check out the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail website for photos, scorecards, and more.
