The Dalai Lama is the reincarnated compasion of Buddha. The Dalai Lama urges his followers to only use Nonviolent means of protest. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, for his constant efforts for Peace. The Chinese government still occupies Tibet, and claims it. But it belongs to the People of Tibet. If Bushes proposal of privitising Social Security comes into affect, Who is going to help those who are on disability? Who is going to help those who can't get a good paying job beacause of social status and are to old to start over? Right now retiries get fourty percent of their average income over thier life time in social security. up to a certain amount. If Privitising Social Security comes into affect, They will get less than 20 persent. and since less and less companies have retirement benifits, more and more retiries depend solely on social Security. Privetisation would help those who already make lots of mony more than those who struggle their whole life trying to make ends meet. With Social Security, At least they know they have something to fall back on. Privitising Social Security is a mistake. There are other ways of saving Social Security that won't hurt those who tepend on it the most. One proposition I have heard is giving a percent of an Estate tax to Social Security. -MO 1/15/05 |
