believes that statistical probability is so awesome
because the more repetitions you have of an event, the
closer you think you are to certainty
thesalmon83: well, the truth is that if you go to a very
basic level, the probabilities will always be 1 divided by
the number of possible outcomes
thesalmon83: that is a universal and widely accepted
logic statement
thesalmon83: according to this, things as basic as the
rise of the sun every morning can take you to be way
more skeptical
thesalmon83: of cours the rise of the sun is a bad
example because we have more sophisticaded reasons
to believe that the sun will rise tomorrow
thesalmon83: but if we didn't have astronomy
inHumanLight: im still reading, i have been dumb latly
thesalmon83: scientists will still believe that every day
that passes, they are more certain that the next day the
sun will raise
thesalmon83: I don't even know how to spell raise lol

thesalmon83: but my point is that in a basic level
everyday we have the same probability of guessing if
the sun will rise the next day
thesalmon83: The sun can either rise or not, there's a
50% chance for each one
inHumanLight: that is bassed onimited knolege, i
think, i mean the sun has either a 100% chance or a 0%
chance
inHumanLight: what will happen is 100%
inHumanLight: everything that will not is 0%
inHumanLight: unless you are talking about the
variables that are add with the repatition of the sun's
rise?
inHumanLight: maybe i missed all of that

sun won't rise tomorrow?
inHumanLight: no, i think that if it is going to rise, then
the chance is 100% that it will
inHumanLight: and if it is not, the chance is 100% that
it will not
