Ferrets are ideal pets for most people, but some households are not in the correct environment to keep one in (for example, not to leave one unattended to a young child under the age of 5/6) HERE ARE SOME BASIC THINGS TO UNDERSTAND: A ferret can live up to 10 years, although, 13 has been counted. A ferret needs a lot of attention, fuss, commitment and love. A ferret cannot be brought on a whim or an impulse. A ferret�s owner has to have time to play with the ferret each day.
