I.                 Introduction

This web quest challenges students to review the parts of speech. It allows students to strengthen their technology skills, exercise their creativity, practice their research skills, appreciate the complexity of their language, experience the fun of language, and visit resource sites to discriminate between different parts of speech. Students will experiment with parts of speech and improve their communication skills by using the computer to drill, practice, review, and explore new vocabulary. When practicing language, there is no better audience than a real and appreciative audience. Finally students will demonstrate their new or improved knowledge of the parts of speech by answering some the best activities we provide in this web quest. Students will become more articulate. They will evaluate their capacity in providing the part of speech in a sentence. Maybe students want to be a salesperson, and a designer, or work in politics. Students might just want to get a "1" in English. All of the activities presented in this Web Quest will be highly valuable to students all of their lives. Remember students will be using communication skills their entire lives. The new century has provided us with even more opportunity to converse with each other freely. With these new opportunities comes the responsibility to converse appropriately and adequately.

This is a fun and motivating process to teach and review parts of speech with your students. You are offered an opportunity to understand how parts of speech fit together to form sentences which then form great stores. Together, teacher and students, will work together to arm themselves with a talent for identifying and using different parts of speech to strengthen thinking skills and communication skills.
