1) Pray.
2) SIGN THE VIRGINIA SHARED PARENTING AND CHILDRENS' RIGHTS PETITION.
3) PASS IT ON.
4) Join with other parents going through similar experiences.
5) Contact your legislator and the Governor and ask them to support shared custody legislation. Let them know that the system is biased and that laws need to be changed.
6) Contact candidates to find out if the support shared custody legislation. Support those that do and oppose those that don't.
7) Share information. Post it on Virginia Childless Fathers.
If a Judge has made a biased ruling against you:
1) Report him to your legislator and request that he be counseled by the Courts of Justice Committee.
2) If he has violated the Canons of the VA Judiciary, report him to the Judiciary Inquiry and Review Commission.
3) Post your story on Virginia Childless Fathers so that his reappointment can be challenged.
4) Complete the survey at the Courthouse Forum.
Laws are made by politicians. Politicians make laws to suit their special interests--not because they are the right ones for everyone. It's time we put politicians to work for us or put them out of office.
