First of all, I have a question to all the members. Does anyone here an author of a fanfic? If so, please email me with your name and the name of your story and the url to it. I would like to make a section on our site that includes fanfics of our members and other artworks of them. So, if you have a fanfic, please email me the information required. Thanks.
Secondly, I just wanted to drop a quick note (well, you know by now my quick notes are more like 5 pages; lol) to anyone that��s attending the gathering on April 19th at NYC. I��m pretty sure Erica sent you an email about directions on how to get to botanical gardens, but if you have any questions, feel free to contact me or Erica. The initial meeting time is 10:30 botanical gardens and we plan on hanging around the whole day until maybe 5:00-6:00. Obviously, there is no set time to this gathering, so it��s ok if you��ll be late or you have to leave earlier. If you plan on arriving later than 10:30 (which I understand some people will, since they live a little far from NYC), please remember to keep mine and Erica��s cellular number with you so that you can contact either one of us when you arrive and we can arrange a meeting place to find you. Our cellular numbers are listed at the bottom of this email.
A little change in plans will be made. Originally, we planned on having KTV as part of the plans, but we��ve decided to leave it out this time. We��ll just have botanical gardens, lunch, and then we��ll decide afterwards where we want to go. We��re open to suggestions to anything else you may have in mind. The botanical garden is the one in BROOKLYN (sorry to those that live close to Queens, but maybe in the future we can arrange something there). Also, if you would like to spend the rest of the day hanging together (after 6:00 also), you��re welcome to since Erica and I have left the whole day free to enjoy the time together.
As for the money issue��Botanic garden is free admission only from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon and for people under 16 years of age. So, if you plan on arriving after 12:00, please be ready to pay for admittance. Also, if you are under 16 but plan on arriving late, but might look older than 16, please bring some sort of ID (such as school ID) so that they would let you in without a problem. As for lunch, each individual is paying for their own meals, which you should estimate to be like $10-$15, but bring $20 for safety sakes. As for transportation, $5 should cover the transportation from Brooklyn to Chinatown and back.
Just a suggestion, bring a few extra dollars for anything unexpected and the bus fare from Brooklyn to Chinatown.
Lastly, I would like everyone who��s interested to contact me so I can have a head count of how many people are going. You can either call me or email me. Please do so by Wednesday at the latest. When doing so, please tell me your full name (as you know I tend to mix up members) and if you have a cell phone #, please leave that also, since it might come in handy when we have to find everyone on the day of the gathering. Well, that��s pretty much it. I hope to see you there on April 19th!!!
