Erica's Connecticut Concert Report
F4 had a grand entrance with "ask for more" as they run out from the back since the stage is 4 sided in the middle of the arena. so lucky fans at the side get to see them so so close as they come out. they're dressed in their mtv outfits with sparkling red, white n blue belts. =D after the song all leaves to change while dancers come on to entertain the audience. jerry comes on stage and dances in middle eastern clothing. kinda weird but surpised to see that he doesn't dance bad even tho not as fluid as vanness. ken is next in jeans come n sings "here we are" with guitar and then sings "desperado" with mickey which he gave to really lucky girl after. vanness comes on with two song, "finding juliet" n i forgot the other..but does sexy moves as he rocks the house with his dancing (kinda look like michael jackson moves tho)...no funky red custom this time as in previous concerts.
zai zai appears next in a blue jacket singing "make a wish". the jacket covers the outfits for "can't lose u" so we know what song will be up next. vanness joins zai zai with some rapping along with zai zai singing make a wish i believe. sounds pretty cool and harmonious which probably took, some time for them to practice doing that. vanness announces the 2 other members, ken n jerry, and introduces them as in a wrestling match..haha. zai zai takes off his blue jacket n adorable ken helps zai zai tenderly put on the shorter brown jean jacket. jerry is very sullen n when vanness tells him to say hi to the audience, he reluctantly gives deep n short "hello". vanness says that he is not in good mood again =( so sad to see it first hand of jerry being mad. so they perform "can't lose u". jerry stands at his side of the stage and due to 4 sided stage, they all need to rotate but jerry doesn't do that. so other three rotates and considerate zai zai stands at corners to make a triangle to not make any fans feel left out. awww...zai zai so sweet.
then they sit at for sides of the little upraised section in the middle of the stage and sing, is it called "seasons of firework"? zai zai then comes on after in the puffy pink/purple jacket n sings a song from his album i believe..hehe..i forgot what song he sang...sigh...this is how it is when i dunno mandarin even tho i sang along with every song!!! just can not remember names. ken comes on with...i think suede...=) n sings is it called "love will not always wait for u"? the song that has "talk to me.....show me your love, what you need, what you feel, what you see..." than takes off jacket, rolls up his sleeves n starts to move to a beetles song...n does a little twist at the end. hehe..so adorable!
up next vanness!!! he comes on in a black tux without the shirt. i think some of the shiney plates came off as i saw some missing patches. afterall, this is a world tour concert..hehe maybe getting old after all the other shows. he sings a slow song forgot what. then to unsuspectingly, he tears open the vest ahhhaa!! 8)n changes to the long red robe! he sings "body will sing" is that what it was? sniff sniff..forgive my bad memory. vanness then does some martial arts moves n throws some hung bao to audience..=( i didn't get any!! jerry comes on next n sings "i really really love u" sorry to say this but i think they need new clothing designers or dressers or whoever decides what they wear. jerry's outfit didn't look that good. then he tried to go pick a lucky girl from the audience but i think someone already picked one and a crew member went onto stage to told him to go get her from the other side as they brought her up on stage. she was from his fan club/site ningbo, that had the lucky girls who went to pick them up at airport when they came to NY. (a little sidetracked n hope u all understand what i'm saying). he sang an old mushy love song while holding her hand..jealous!! she was really nervous n jerry sang rite into her eyes..aahhh!! more jealous!! he gives her a hug after. then...almost the end already =( sigh..so sad
dancers come on with hawaiian clothes..n then F4 comes on with those red flowery clothes. haha..i believe again they should pick better outfits. BUT..of course, whatever F4 puts on will look good. they sing theme song for lilo n stitch "can't help falling in love with u". vanness gives thanks to sponsers n suddenly (love him so much!!) he gives a shouts out to fans on upper deck!! since i got stuck up there in exchange for a friend..sniff sniff..me n my friend that was up there went crazy cuz he pointed to our section n rest of F4 looked our way!! n we were in the middle in first row! so hopefully they saw us la..haha..cuz the lights were on. too bad i didn't jump up n shout i love u!! haha..then i'm sure they'll see but was scared cuz i didn't want to trip n fall down. they'll definately notice me then hahaha. vanness cheered jerry up n got him to say something to the audience..."i'm very happy to be here." n thanks F3 in what order i have no idea..haha but jerry's english is pretty good. i'm sure he practiced for long time. i bet vanness taught him! i don't remember when they threw little packets of gifts for the fans. i wanted one too!! if anyone got one, please tell me what it was!!! vanness, so considerate, tried to throw some to the audience in the back, too bad he didn't throw to fans upstairs.
the last song was "meteor rain". when music starts n before they sang, they played rocks, paper, scissors for some reason. to see who sings first? hehe but cool to see that they all having so much fun n so relaxed n that jerry is not that moody anymore. zai zai was happy n keep giving jerry pats as in "i'm so happy ur ok" hehehe..zai zai is so cute!! n u could tell he tried to console him before when they were singing "can't lose u". sigh sigh...i had such a good time. but i wanna cry cuz i was not close enough to touch them or get anything..ahhh.. sniff sniff. sometimes one or two of them will sit at the side of the stage in front of the fans..ahh..n i wasn't there...but i was so scared that some fans will snatch their shoes off. =) this was all i can remember...if anything wrong do correct me. if want to fill in the blanks about the concert please email katherine with the details n of course do email me too!!
