FLOWER FOUR

I am not good in relating stories so I'll just put in here a part of the article I found in F4 Fever (Collectors' Edition), a fan mag available only here in the Philippines. I think I read this somewhere but I can't remember the source. Is this yours? Then contact me. Anyway, here's the article:
In today's entertainment world, if the success of F4, heirs to the title of Taiwan's hottest boyband since the Little Tigers disbanded 10 years ago, is anything to go by, all it takes are good looks, talents, a little bit of luck, and a drama series called Meteor Garden.
Based on a popular Japanese comic, Hana Yori Dango ("Men are Better Than Flowers"), Meteor Garden is the vehicle that launched the careers of Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and American-born Vanness Wu, transforming them from total unknowns into pop idols who inspire mass hysteria when they so much as enter a room.
Their rise to stardom has been nothing short of meteoric. The series debuted in Taiwan in April last year, and in the short space of 14 months, these four guys have become household names not only in their native Taiwan, but also in Singapore, Hongkong, Malaysia, and even Brunei and the Philippines.
So that's a part of the article. F4's singing career all started with their first album, Meteor Rain, and then followed by, Fantasy 4ever, both selling like hotcakes all over Asia. Only in the Philippines that in just a span of three days, their albums were almost sold-out prompting Sony Philippines to provide more copies even if it means giving their own copy. Filipino F4 fans need not to wait to see these hotties in flesh as just last September 12, 2003, Vanness Wu and Ken Zhu (with ASOS' Barbie Xu a.k.a. Shan Cai and Dee Xu) arrived here to perform in a one-night concert in Ultra. Despite heavy rains, crazy Filipino fans still stayed just to see their idols perform in that concert billed as The Event. *I was actually there!* But Filipino fans are still waiting for the whole F4 to perform here. Vanness Wu said they will be coming back hopefully next year as they promote their third album due out next year.
