Yesterday F4 held their southeast asis new album release press conference in Hong Kong and the company had invested a million over dollars on this press conference as you can see how grand the place is. However when F4 was surrounded by lots of fans when they leave the hotel, they are late for the press conference and this make many reporters unhappy. Finally F4 was guarded by police and body guards, wearing a nice black colour prada suite appeared. But very strangely is that the 4 guys seemed to be extremely quiet and unactive on stage. Normally, Vanness will be posing a lot when taking photographs but this time he was standing very straight. As for Jerry, he did not lift up his head and you can only see a bit of smiles on his face. Ken, who is always the one who is talking also talked vry little and only for Vic who is still very funky and jovial. The host, Tao Jing Ying requested Vic to say a few of cantonese and anxiously, Vic said out "I Love You" and this make then whole hall of people burst out laughing. During the interview, Vic also revealed that his mother had become good friends with his fans and there's one time when Vic's mother invited his fans back in house for a tea and chit chat and Vic who just came out from his bath was only wearing his undergarment. His fans were all blushing red and Vic jokingly said, "If my mother had told me earlier, I would have wore some nice undergarment and not that outdated one." Though during the press conference, the four guys seemed to be very serious, but when they came down for interviews, they are more lively. Regarding their 5 sessions of concert, the 4 guys are very worried. Jerry and Vanness who are going to dance during the concert even practise 8 to 10 hrs a day and even the teacher is scared of them. Jerry's whole body is in pain after so much of practise and once when he was going to bath, his leg suddenly in great pain and he panicked. Jerry revealed, "Think next time before going for bath, I must do some warm up first." During Chinese New Year, F4 will be in LA for their concert. The caring company intended to invite F4's parents along to accompany them. However Vic and Jerry revealed that they might not be able to take care of their parents while rehersing and added on they have to speak English and therefore they felt that they can't even take care of themselves so how are they going to take care of their parents, their parents are also very worried and therefore decided to give up in going along. Vanness at this time said that he will be willing to take care of all of them. Jerry jokingly said, "You will be too busy to take care of me, where got time to take care of our mothers?" F4 all 4 members will be attending the Azio Fantasy Concert to celebrate the coming of year 2003. Organised by Dong Feng Station, Ming Sheng Bao, Hit FM and Sony Music, the Azio Fantasy year end concert will still have Tao Jing Ying as the host and also will have F4 all 4 guys totally to the concert. Other than F4, there will also be Jolin and Comic Boyz. The celebration will start from year 2002 31st December 9pm to year 2003 1st Janruary 12.05am. In the concert, F4 will be bringing out part of the performance they have in China and re perform before Taiwan fans. This is the first time F4 had their concert in Hong Kong and yesterday the first session attracts over 1200 people and the place is packed with luminous stick lights. To maintain the security, the sponsors hired 19 security guards for the concert. Being the representatives for Pepsi, F4 wore the whole suite of Pepsi clothes and started off their concert with the Pepsi ads theme, Ask for more and immediately get the whole place of fans to sing along with them. When F4 started to greet the fans, the whole place is full of screamings. The four of them perform live and not sure whether is it the problem with the sound system, they make a lot of mistakes. There's time when Jerry's voice can't be heard though his mouth is moving. During his solo performance, he did not perform as well as what everyone expected. However screamings from fans are still everywhere. Before the opening of their concert, there's someone who report fake alarm, claiming that the boy's toilet is on fire. F4 Fantasy Concert started yesterday in Hong Kong famous concert venue, Hong Kang Stadium. On the eve of the concert, many fans went online to purchase the front row seats so that they can get close to F4 and the price is bid till a high price of 4000 dollars. When F4 appeared, screamings can be heard everywhere till Ken's nice cantonese song, Qing Ren and totally bring up the high mood of all the fans. The concert started at 8.30pm sharp and the four guys appeared in white and blue and their prince charming looks rise the screamings. The only thing bad is that Vic's mic is spoilt and affect the concert slightly. Following, Jerry and Vanness also attracted lots of screamings. As for Ken, he used his gentle voice and sing out a cantonese song, Qing Ren, originally sang by Beyond. Before the opening of the concert, Vanness and Vic came out to pray to the god. All their clothes are totally different from those they wore in China Concert. Each member also chose a cantonese song to sing and even greeted the fans with their unfamiliar cantonese. Outside the stadium, many stalls can be found. Some are selling F4's album Fantasy 4 ever and also Meteor Garden 2 soundtrack and is selling at the same price as in any CD shop. Others also selling F4's drama VCD, stickers and other side stuffs. Among them also include the F4 dolls and the previous concert in China's pictorial book. F4 hold their concert in Hong Kong for the first time and all the fans gave them full supports. F4 was encouraged to show their very best and Jerry who is having gastric pain also smile through the night. Following up, Ken, Vanness and Vic also showed their talents. However immediately after the concert, Jerry who already started to vomit during rehersal was sent to the hospital. Complete the concerts in China, F4 finally stand on the Hong Kong concert stage and with the screamings from the fans, the white curtain, F4 slowly emerge onto the stage with all blue and whites. To allow fans to recall the good memories of Meteor Garden, they started to sing the main theme Qing Fei De Yi and at this time all the fans are already attracted deeply to their voice. The fans looked closely to F4 and hoping to get the chance to shake their hands or even to touch them. The main attraction is not on the performance but all the fans know when to sing along with them and shower F4 with all their loves. Jerry started the solo performance with his jazz dance and though he lost his rythem a bit but it does not affect his peformance. The most exciting part is that he chose a lady to the stage to sing "Yue Lian Dai Biao Wo De Xin" with him. Many of the girls hated this but the lady on stage also did not dare to move, she just stand there and allow Jerry to hold her hand. Ken even teased and said, "The fans is too shy, if for me, I would have rush forward to hug him." For Ken, he showed his talent in his instruments, other than performing his most capable guitar, he also perform a set of electrical drum with a DJ Chozie, Tao Jing Ying's boyfriend. He even challenged to sing Beatles's songs. When it is Vanness's turn, he wad dancing from start to end, he even changed his clothes on stage and changing into the robot clothes, he started dancing his new style dance. As for Vic, he continued to maintain his image as a prince charming and even sit onto a crown seats and rise to the air. During singing the cantonese song, he finally dance along with the dancers. However his dance steps is really very Zaizai style because it is all simple and funny. His cantonese pronouciation also become the main attention and Ken requested Vic to say something in cantonese and he actually blurted out, "Cha Shao Bao"(The char siew bun). During the success concert celebration, Vanness asked Vic whether he feel happy to be able to stand so close to the fans, Vic actually mis pronouce Suan as San and cause everyone to burst out laughing. - [21/12/02]
F4 finally got their rest! They will be having their break on Christmas day. After working hard for the past 1 year, F4 finally got their derserved break. Jerry who is more concerned about home and family decided to spend his day at home cooking, accompany his mother and watch DVD. Vanness will be spending his day with his family at the church to have a sumpteous meal. Vic is going back to Yi Lan to have his nice sleep while Ken is waiting for people to ask him out. Finally Dao Ming Si is back with Shan Cai! Meteor Garden 2 final episode will be shown on 25th December in Taiwan and people who predit that Dao Ming Si will marry Ye Sha is proved to be wrong. Jerry revealed that he hoped that he die and can let Hua Ze Lei and Shan cai to be together. Regarding Dao Ming Si and Ye Sha's engagement scene in a hotel previously, many people went online to discuss and mistaken Ye Sha as the 3rd party but now the ending is out and the team even revealed that Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai endings are film long time ago in Spain. The drama team is very headache whether to let Ye Sha to die in the drama or not but the ending has been set long time ago. For this happy ending, it will held at a very romantic church. Ken, Vic and Vanness make use of the break time during filming to get Da S to put on the lipsticks that make Da S into very big mouth. However Jerry is not scared of this and just kiss on her lips with the lipsticks until the director say "Cut"! Everyone burst out laughing when they saw Jerry's lips very shiny. Jerry then realised that he is being fooled by them. Vanness even make use of his free time to bring his DV around to shoot and he manage to film a scene whereby the bull chase towards the backside of some people. Yesterday Vic challenge the mission impossible. He was invited to join the [HITO] Competition to compete with radio DJ, Alsa to read a poem. At the beginning, Vic had already pronouce wrongly, however he was not defeated by the mistake and insist on reading the whole thing happily. He is so happy reading that he even change the format of the poem himself. His humour win lots of votes from the students and the price he got is to play F4's new song at HIT FM 20 times. Just came back from Hong Kong, Vic catch a flu and being caring he asked the people around him not to go near him, worrying that they might got the flu from him. F4 is getting more popular now and just a single concert or an ads can earn them million dollars. However behind all these fame, F4 have to sacrifice or contribute a lot. They contributed their freedom, strength and time. Other than this, Ken is the most hardworking person who worked over 14 hours a day. Before filming for Meteor Garden, Ken is just like any Taiwan boy, he had to face National Service. But because National Service always pay very little, many will make use of the chance to work part time else where to earn more money, including Ken. Since Ken is the finance support in his family, he had to work everyday. 3 years back, Ken worked from 10am to 4pm at a pet shop and 4pm to 12 midnight at a Japanese restaurant. Sometimes during holiday, he will go to his friend's comics shop to help him look after the shop. After reporter's investigation, they found out that Ken used to work for the Japanese restaurant name "Shi Er Shao" and is situated near CTS station. Many artists also visited this restaurant and Ken was spotted to enter entertainment here. Ken revealed, "I worked many part time jobs before. In 1999, I worked in a comics shop and get to know this friend. When the comics shop was closed, I worked for him at the Japanese restaurant for 2 years. At first, I was only in charge of entertaining the customers. I worked for 8 hours a day and I got myself 1000 dollars a day. I love to cook and later I followed this Japanese chef to learn some Japanese cooking and was promoted to chef later and worked for half a year when I met Cai Jie and went to film drama. This end my chef life." Ken had always been very humble, although he is a very famous artist now but he often went back to "Shi Er Shao" to visit his old friends. He will always bring along pile of autographs to put in the restaurant to give them to those regular customers. "Shi Er Shao" boss revealed, "Ken is a very hardworking and friendly person. Idol groups are all releasing their albums, Energy actually met Ken & Vanness at HIT FM. Both groups did not feel uncomfortable but actually feel happy to meet one another. After Vic, this time is Ken and Vanness going to HIT FM to be HIT DJ. Both of them catch a serious flu but when they play the music, both of them starting to move their body along with the music. When talking about Stanley's rumours, Vanness actually acted Stanley's way of talking. Ken even joined in the fun with Vanness, he put down his gentleman style and even started shouting and screaming in the studio. Vanness started to act as Ken with a big stomache and introduce himself as Ken, he even teased Ken that he is able to slim down but couldn't get his stomach down. At the same time, Ken also started to act like he is blowing air to his chest, he lifted his chest and introduce himself as Vanness. After a while, they started to discuss over acting the other F2 who are not there. Ken lifted his bottom and started to act like Vic while Vanness started to act Jerry's way of talking and actually go out of tune when he introduced himself as Jerry. Everyone burst out laughing and claimed that they acted very well. Their humour also attracted another group of people. Energy even shouted, "See is F4!" F4 and 5566 release their albums almost at the same time but 5566 beat F4 to be the one who release their album first. This week is F4's turn to beat 5566 as F4's album actually win themselves top in Taiwan album chart and not only this, they are also top in all Singapore, Malaysia and many other countries album chart. Other than this, Vanness and Vic who have release their solo album also win themselves the best new comer awards. Added on, F4 also win themselves the best group award. F4 not only rise the popularity of boy group in Taiwan Chinese song world, they also bring harmony to the 2 KTV lounge [Holiday] and [Qian Gui]. They put up the 4 F4's new songs into their chart for people to play and sing at the same time. All this while, both KTV lounge are against each other, many singers' album have to choose among this 2 to play their songs but only F4 is exception. Sony Music actually sell their authority to Holiday but Qian Gui also try their best to get the authority. After much negotiation, both Holiday and Qian Gui will be able to play F4's new songs. In the future, all Sony Music artist can play their songs in both KTV. Vic and Vanness arrived in Hong Kong yesterday afternoon. Though only 2 of them are there, their fame are still very high. Both of them show their biggest smiles along the way and keep on accepting gifts from fans. Many fans even fall down just to give them presents, finally both 2 manage to get on van. Both of them are here to attend an awards ceremony and also to receive the most "hot" pop group awards. At the same time, F4 also get the best album for Meteor Rain and both Vanness and Vic got themselves the best newcomer. As F4's 2nd album is released, they will be heading for Indonesia on 10h Jan for their concert. Before this Meteor Garden is already showing in Indonesia and therefore their fame is also very high there.
