FELIPE MASSA
We waited a while to write about Felipe because we pre-season nobody knew anything about him! We did look on a wide variety of websites and found nothing so we gave up.

Then he started the season in Melbourne and has never really looked back. The similarities are there with Kimi Raikkonen, the equally talented youngster he replaces at Sauber. Very young, very fast, and very inexperienced. And yet in the four races this season he hasn't disgraced himself. He's holding his own against Nick Heidfeld his far more experienced teammate and is even looking to score points. The Sauber is a good car and it would surprise noone if it started making podium appearances on the occasions when Williams and Ferrari fail to make it to then end.

And he's still only 21 years old. If he makes it onto the podium in the next 287 days he'll be the youngest driver ever to do so!

BTW : The youngest driver ever to finish on a podium is Ralf Schumacher who was 21 years and 287 days when he managed it in Argentina 1997, although he knocked his teammate off in the process!
