These are all the weapon types the F-18 can carry. As you can see it can carry a vast array of war fighting weapons. Below are some more of the weapons and some weapons the F-18 uses for practice bombing.
This weapon is a GBU-15. It is also known as a "Crusiform-wing weapon" It's primary mission is to go through the doors of a target and destroy it from the inside much like a "bunker-buster"
These are the pracitce bombs F-18 pilots use for practice.
It may look funny to civillians, but these bombs are some of what helps our pilots protect the country. This is an MK-106 practice bomb. When it hits the deck (ground) it emits smoke to signal it has hit.
This one has the same mission as above.
This is the gun the F-18 pilots use for close air support and if they are too close to an enemy fighter in combat.
