In the 2004 season of baseball the Chicago Cubs are currently out of the playoffs. They need to work hard in the off season, get healthy and come back next year and become the favorite that they had once been eariler this season. Go Garciamarapara the cubs new shortstop.

Lets take a look back at the best season the cubs have had since 1945.
They started the year slow playing 500 ball. Slowly the year got better they grew closer and closer to first.
Lead by there pitchers, Wood, Prior, and other young guns, they took over the lead. They would fight for this spot the rest of the season.
Then entering the last games they were in the closest playoffs race in a long time. 8 teams going for the wild card or the divsion lead. In the end the cubs won.
Then they took on Atlanta, one of the the best hitting teams in the league. After 5 games the cubs beat them even with there young pitchers.
They moved on to Florida, after going up 3-1 in the series, they lost in game 7, getting losses under Wood and Prior. Thanks for the great season Cubs.

Now it is time to rest up for next year and talk about who to resign and who not to.
The Pistons finished the regular season with a record of 54 wins and 28 losses. With an in conference record of 37-17.
