I've been lookin for this poem for quite a while. I knew it was posted on Faiza Bhati's website, but the URL that I had for her website was givin me 404. Fortunately I got the correct URL from her Orkut profile... anyhow... ever since i read this one, it's touched me... and i would like to put it up here...

Bachpan k dukh kitne achey hote they
tab to sirf khilone toota kerte they
woh khusiyan bhi kaisi khusiyaan thien
teetli ki par nooch k uchla kerte they
paaon maar ker khud baarish k paani mein
apni kashti aap duboya kerte they
ab sochien to chot si parti hai dil per
app bana ker app gharonde toora kerte they
chootey they to mukr-o-fareeb bhi chootey they
daana daal ker churia pakara kerte they
apne jal jane ka bhi ahsas na tha
jaaltey huey sholon ko chera kerte they
khusbu key uRrtey hi kion murjhaya phool
kitne bhoole pan se poocha kerte they
ajj wohi taabiren laho rulati hain
bachpan mein jo sapne dekha kerte they
ab to aanso bhi ruswa ker jaata hai
bachpan mein jee bhar k roya kerte they
