Tried to take some pictures yesterday at the Aquarium but they didn't turn out the way i wanted them to. Most of them were blurry because the fish were swimming about. Others were too dark because I didn't use the flash even though it was dark inside the Aquarium. I don't have a directional flash on my digital camer and the flash light would've reflected anyways off of the tank's glass surface.
Curiously the Aquarium uses tungsten lamps throughout the inside of the building. There were some exhibits with UV lighting to show noctural fish, but the clash of fluorescent and tungsten lamps made it hell on photography. I had to switch to my camera's indoor/tungsten white balance filter to compensate.
Anyway, hopefully i'll figure out my photography woes in time for my next visit. There's a a tank with lantern fish that i want to capture, with their phosphorescent blue blinking. It's kind of cool!
