Met a bunch of new friends last weekend while at a party and we were talking about murder mysteries.  My favorite was this story I read when I was twelve about a boy who killed another boy in order to win over the dead boy's long lost uncle who was dying and had a great fortune to give away.  Of course the dead boy was the only living heir and of course the murderer knew all about that.  But the murderer didn't count on the dead boy's ghost coming back to thwart the murderer's scheming plot.  It was a damn good story though very freaky for a young kid like me.

Anyway, we're going whitewater rafting up near Eureka next weekend and I'm thinking about asking Em to join us.  Wish me luck.
