So I am now in Thailand and it is very hot just like everyone said it would be but it's not to bad. Thankfully I'm kinda used to humidity b/c of the Springfield humidity. We are actually ahead of you. I am writing this at almost 12 in the afternoon on Saturday the 14th. But back home it is almost midnight on the 13. So that would make it a 12 hour difference. I have not been able to put pictures up yet but I will as soon as I can. The food here has been great so far. They eat a lot of fish, rice and noodles which is great b/c I like those things. They drive on the left side of the road which is weird to me and there are a lot of motercycle taxies. The city is very crowded with people everywhere. My team is doing good, we are starting to figure out how we will decorate our classrooms. And it turns out that we will only have 24 students and 20 of them will be boys! So please pray that everything will go as smooth as possible. The people here are really nice to us and we are trying to learn the important wordsin Thai like hello and thank you. So far we've seen McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC and Subway. They also have Shell and Exon gas stations. We all get so excited when we see American things.
