YEAH, I figured how to edit this thing :}. Now if I can just remember how the next time I need to, hehe.
Well, here is my spinning wheel and you can see that I have almost finished filling the spool. You can also see the ball of yarn I have already spun, I will ply the one on the spool (on the wheel) with the ball to have a two ply skein of yarn. It will be about baby weight. The reason I bring this up is I scored a coup on ebay. :} I got some yak down (the very soft coat underneath the long coarse hair) for $19, including shipping and handling. And it was 8oz, ALRIGHT :}. I knit some up about 2 years ago that I had someone else spin for me and oh my goodness, it was soooooooo soft, almost like butter going through my fingers. I debated if I really wanted to give it away as a gift (a scarf), but my better self won out and the gift was given. :} That 200 yards of yarn had cost me $60 (40 for the down fiber and 20 to spin it). So you can imagine my excitement to get this for $19. (evil grin). I'll let you know how the spinning goes after I finish the spool that I need to finish on the wheel first. :}
Ah, sometimes life is good. :}
