Well, I had to start something with that hand spun skein of yarn in the entry below, and I did, a scarf, mostly because I knew that one skein wouldnt be enough for much of anything. I was right, I will need to spin 2 more skeins to finish this scarf :P. Hehe. It is worsted weight and will be a nice thick scarf. I am doing it in the regular fan and feather pattern (because it's quick and easy). You can see the ridges after the YO pattern row in the regular fan and feather, in this scarf, that you'll notice is not in Lena's blanket, which is the ostrich plume variation of the fan & feather. The picture isnt showing the colorful silk threads that run through the roving giving it more color, but after spinning it, it sure isnt as light as the roving was, guess those colorful silk threads muddied the water so to speak. Yes, I'm still working on little Lena's blanket :P, and now I have to spin two more skeins of yarn too. I'm not complaining tho, I enjoy it :}.
