Well, I finished Madison's blanket and made two more burp clothes that my daughter requested. :} Here are the results. The blanket is tooooooo big to get all of it in a picture but you can see the details. I'm not sure what the stitich is called, the pattern didnt mention it, but it's a has a nice flow to it and I did the borders in my favorite border stitch, the seed stitch. :}
Now that that is done, I have started the baby blanket for my soon to be newest grand daughter (my youngest son's daughter will be born in Oct. Her name will be Lena, :}.) I've just finished the border (seed stitch of course ;P) and will update a picture when I get more done so you can see the stitch. I am doing it in a variation of the Old Shale (a/k/a fan and feather) stitch called Ostrich Plume. It's really pretty but like the fan and feather stitch and tho' it looks difficult is very easy almost mindless knitting, and I need some mindless knitting right now :P. You'll have something to look forward too :P.
