Well, this is my first blog. Tho' I will probably talk for the most part about my knitting, I will on occasion talk about the spinning I have just learned how to do, or even have a rant or opinion that I will "need" to express, lol. If it's too boring, dont read it :P. I didn't really have anything to talk about today, just wanted to get this set up to see if I could do it :P.
Well actually I am working on a baby blanket for my new grand daughter (Madison) who isnt quite here yet :}. But my daughter assures me she should be within the next week or so. The baby blanket is not really lace but there are two rows of yo's in the 8 row pattern, so I can technically call it lace :P. It looks like an hourglass pattern and the yo's are coupled with knit together decreases to expand it out and draw it in in needed places. It looks nice, I'll try to get a picture up as I am working on it. New to that too, so no promises right now. Gotta figure out where to get a camera first :}.
Then after I am done with that one, I have another one to do, as my youngest son and his wife are also expecting in a few months. Not sure yet if I need to make it blue or pink :}, so I have time if I hurry with this one (about 1/3 of the way done so far) to determine the color and get that one done too before it is needed.
