Ok here is the tangled ball of yarn and the small plyed skein that I managed to get.   I got my new Spin-Off magazine a few days ago, and guess what it is featuring this time,  yep, plying. hehe.  How lucky is that :P.  They even say you can set up to ply off of the spools and not have to wind it into a ball to ply by getting a shoe box and putting straight knitting needles through the sides and put the spools on the knitting needle.  Looked pretty cool.  I'll  have to spin more yarn to try that.  In the mean time I'll have to just work with the two balls of yarn I have and untangle that one and try again.  sigh.

Ok the reason I was so busy this last weekend was my church had a big Single Adult Conference.  I was part of the committee and we had a ton of stuff to do.  It turned out really nice.  I have to say this for my mom, she was probably laughing or at least smiling.  I'll explain.  My mom loved football and so do I.  My team and her team however were "mortal enemies", hehe.  Well, I got to meet a retired pro football player at the conference, it was a thrill to meet a pro football player.  But yes, you guessed it, he use to play on "her" team. :P hehe.  I told him the team I was a fan of and he shook his head, and then I told him that my mom was a huge fan of his team and he smiled and said "well, your mother gave you some good genes, but it's looks like you've squandered them."  lol, I could just see her laughing over that.   He was actually a very nice and funny man.
