A new friend I met on the airplane on my way back from my visit with my children mentioned a pattern for slippers that she learned to knit in school.  I told her I would do some research on the internet and post the pattern.  The picture is above and tho I can't put the pattern up (copy write laws) I am putting the link up to the site I found it at.  It will bring back memories to alot of us I am sure. :}  There was also another site that had some more slippers that looked pretty cool, since it's Christmas maybe it will spark someone to want to knit a pair for someone they love :), I liked the desert boots.  First link is for the pattern to the slippers above. http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/maggieslippers.html
