We enjoyed a vacation to Lancaster County, PA. I have been there before - this was the first time for DD. She enjoyed the hotel (Travelodge on Lititz Pike), including the staff, continental breakfast, and pool. There were a few glitches, but they were freak instances and the hotel was a great value for the price ($53/night internet rate), and they gave DD 2 teddy bears. We took it slow, took some tours, and kept cool (temps were in the 90s).

We also enjoyed visiting family in Long Island after our time in PA. We visited her grandparents on their boat (which DD loved - having just seen a Dora episode about going to the beach), and went to a Bar Mitzvah party for my cousin, who has a little sister 2 days younger than DD.

Getting back into the work routine, but taking time to enjoy the pool in our backyard.
