DD's speech development started a little late, so we've had her work with speech therapists and that is part of the reason why she's currently in preschool. Especially since school began, she's been expanding her language skills. Yesterday, I asked DH at dinner whether the pool was still green (a small algea problem had popped up over the weekend). DH hesitated, and DD replied, "No, it's back to normal...it's blue." That's a new one, and I was duly impressed, since it's not a phrase I can recall being used in our home.
