I sometimes hate myself
for being the way I am
But mostly I'm glad I'm that way
If the alternative is to be like you

I'd rather be fat and ugly
Than thin and miserable
Forever counting calories
And scorning those who don't

I'd rather be shy and boring
Than out every night
If the people there are like you
I'd prefer to be alone thanks

I'd rather have a few friends
Who I know like me for who I am
Than have lots of acquitences
But to know I can't trust any of them

I don't care that I'm outnumbered
By dozens of clones like you
I'd rather be an individual
I'd rather be me than you
