Nightmares

The nightmares that plague me at night

Return to haunt me during the day

They're weakened by the sunlight

And I'm not alone for them to torment

But still they come to destroy me

I dread the dark cloak of night

When the deamons come for me

They take my heart and soul away

Little by little 'til I'm not really there at all

Nightmares that slowly kill me

Night after night they come

And now I invite them in
