Do you even see me

As you brush past

Anxious to sit with your friends?

Do you notice

My nervous smile

And my tentative wave?

 

Do you chose to ignore

The sadness on my face

The emptiness in my eyes

Do you not see

How lonely I am

That its because of you?

 

Why don’t you see

How much pain you cause me

Probably without meaning to

Why don’t you understand

How much I need a friend right now

Because its horrible being me
