I'm so scared of the big bad world

How will I ever make it on my own?

Will I ever learn all I need to know?

It seems so big and scary out there

Won't I get lost without you

When you're not there to hold my hand?

I'm scared of failing, of letting you down

Will you still love me if I get is all wrong?

I know deep down you will

But not wanting to disappoint you

Is my excuse not to try

Even though that disappoints you more

But mum, I'm so scared

Of what I'll find out there

In the big bad world

Where I won't be able to come safely home

I can't come running back to you

When I neeed a helping hand

Hug me, and hold me tightly

Tell me its going to be okay

Stop the big bad world from getting in.
