Beginning

 

The golden red sunset, marks the end of the day

But it is the beginning of the thick black night

The gray chilly dawn is the start of the morning

But the end of the cloak of darkness

 

The horizon seems to be the end of the world

But go closer and it’s only the beginning

One person dies to save another

Giving up one life for another

 

“Once upon a time”

The beginning of a story we all know well

“And they all lived happily ever after”

The ending we’ve come to expect

 

Everything that begins must come to an end

But the end of everything is the beginning of something new

But how can the end be the beginning,

If all is lost.
