All
For You
I danced in the sunlight
To try and get your attention
I wrote poem after love letter after poem
To confess my love for you
But I never sent any of them.
You made my life worth living
Simply by being there
Even knowing that my love
Could never be returned
You were enough for me
Now I lie here dying
I scream out your name
You look up startled
Then run over to me
I look up at you and smile
There's so much I wanted to say to you
Such a lot you have to know
But know there is no time
And all I have chance to say is:
"I did it all for you."
