Top Ten "Friends" Fanfic Cliches

And yes, I know I am guilty of some of these.


1. Someone is pregnant.

2. Monica is hit by a car

3. Have one of the characters disappear for a long time then come back and everything is all happy again.

4. Either Monica or Chandler cheats on the other (usually Monica)

5. Someone gets amnesia

6. In the future, Chandler and Monica, Ross and Rachel, and Phoebe and Joey are all couples.

7. Have a child (usually C&M's) kidnapped.

8. Monica is raped.

9. Someone has cancer

10. Everybody DIES!!!!! (actually this one isn't as common. I guess most people don't like killing the Central Perk Gang. Well, we all kill Monica, but that doesn't count, right? Right?)

Okay, no offense to the "Friends" fanfic writers, especially the ones who have done these. I love these fics! I write these fics! Anna P, I know this list could describe most of your fanfics, but you know I love 'em! Keep all the cliches coming guys!
