Another ‘do not miss’ around Lake Arenal, is a 3 km hike at “hanging bridges” |

The well marked lush trail takes you through some truly lush jungle, and bridges that are suspended over the jungle floor, the highest being about 180 ft. high!! |

As we watched this Morpho butterfly, (left) and took the picture… it opened to show off it’s beautiful, blue wings! So, we took another picture! Now that’s a great subject! Thanks! |

Our final afternoon back at room, the skies opened up and it poured and poured… time to go! What a nice trip! |

Time to leave Arenal, and head back to our beginning Lodge… where we went to some local waterfalls, butterfly farm and hummingbird gardens. |
